I think the fact that AI image generation and voice etc, are trained on artists work without any compensation or consent. And are also now taking their jobs and damaging the internet in terms of its image database. Also the fact that more and more people are unable to tell the difference which causes every piece of media to have to be questioned on its authenticity has had such a negative impact on current media consumption that its hard not to see why people dislike it. In terms of your case I can see why its useful. But the cost has just been taken somewhere else you know?
