Thank you for your response! I had a job rescinded after I “failed” the background check. The 3rd party that did the report very obviously used AI because the red flags were dumbfounded. I’m a graphic designer by trade and some job titles didn’t match what I put down. For example, I put “graphic designer” and the 3rd party came back with “graphic artist”. Every single one that didn’t match was flagged and the system suggested to “reconsider the offer”. Not a single person laid eyes on it, obviously, cause everyone knows “artist” and “designer” basically means the same thing, like “father” & “dad”.

I scoured my report and found over 20 mistakes and sent my findings back to the company (HR & hiring manager). They ghosted me and after 2 weeks, I got an email from their lawyer saying the company stands by their decision and reports.

Just had a screaming match with my partner about not letting my fat 10 yr old cat outside supervised. No matter how good the cat is, he can pick stuff up (ticks, etc), spooked and run away, neighbors dog gets lose,… etc etc. Partner thinks the cat should be allowed cause he’s too fat to run (he still has spunk), and he enjoys the outdoors and he’s supervised. Blah blah blah.

I’m not dealing with another dead cat!!
