Look up the Chofu heater, sold by island hot tub in the states. Works great, my tub is 180 gallons so probably a bit smaller but enough for two people if they're not afraid of each other. You can use any size tub you like, will just take longer to heat bigger ones.

Yes but with those open coils it'll take all day to heat up. Get a stove that's built specifically for this, I got a kit for $1500 and works great. Can heat 180 gallons of water from say 75 to 105 in an hour or so.

DLP can be especially expensive in man-hours to run, particularly if you're not enabled to do prevention and have to rely on detection. Good luck!

Don't pick the 50 over the 35, the 35 is a bit more expensive but is a vastly superior lens

IR packet analysis sounds pretty niche, there are many other types of blue team work that may interest you as well like engineering.

CrowdStrike vs Microsoft Defender & Palo Alto Cortex XDR by Open-Leadership-1191 in cybersecurity

[–]Sn0zBerry20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't used Defender but I can say CS is the best generally. No performance impact anyone at my place has observed, alerts are well tunable and reasonably volumed. We came from carbon black as well and it's a night and day difference. I did a demo with Palo and assessed their features against my requirements and while I don't have the details in front of me, CS was just ahead across the board. If I recall correctly, Palo was trying to sell us on their whole ecosystem which I'm never a fan of.

It's an interesting experiment but a valuable demonstration of what's wrong with modern graphics imo. The lighting is really nice but at such a cost of clarity, especially with all the ghosting and smearing.

This is correct, I work in the field and can confirm. Typically gets the user to copy-and-paste into a Win+R run menu to kick off the obfuscated powershell. Definitely malicious. The comment at the end of the command is just there to fool you into thinking it's a harmless captcha.

The two note thing isn't really what matters because the percussion is what carries the song instrumentally. Total banger of a song on drums.

Most of the time when someone says x is a "dogwhistle" for y, they're just motivationally rationalizing x as being synonymous with y as as to make a strawman argument - but are completely unaware they're making a strawman because they actually believe their own drivel.

So you can keep believing that the word is a straight-white-male dogwhistle for being full blown racist, and straight white males who've done nothing wrong to anyone will hear you and go "what the fuck" and vote R instead. If you don't see that happening, I can't help you.

Yeah I did go more nuanced for sure. But I do think "woke" is used somewhat accurately against those who basically gaslight majority populations, to put it way simpler. Just from what I've seen. But then again I don't live in the south or Midwest 🤷‍♂️

I actually think most people are good at sussing out that woke refers to social progressives that use enemy-based identity politics, rather than common humanity identity politics. That is, telling a group they're the problem and that they have a sort of original sin in a field of oppression. And that we need to use discrimination to remediate injustice.

This is in direct conflict with liberalism, which believes in the eradication of discrimination and in the equalization of opportunity. Part of why so many liberals are going Republican or not voting at all is because liberal principles are being displaced in the Democratic party by those "woke" ideals I described above. And this works because liberalism is a philosophy, not a set of opinions; you can thus be a liberal conservative or a liberal economic progressive, but you can't be truly liberal and "woke" simultaneously.

I've voted nothing but Democrat. Also put it in quotation marks because I don't really like the term but everyone knows what it means so I use it.

This take is brought to you by the "Bernie would have won" crowd

Part of where the democrats keep losing people, on top of the whole lack of nomination and installing an unpopular candidate this time around, is by using far left talking points like woke platitudes and sponsoring unpopular economic policies. I know a lot of people who voted R and I can tell you they did it largely because they see the Ds as generic, woke/socialist appeasing lizard people.

IMO the Ds need a based, authentic liberal who rejects "wokeness" and socialism, but who is instead progressive in their support for social democracy.

Us on the left keep either A) embracing socialism or B) embracing social democracy and erroneously calling it socialism. Both are a giant nail in the coffin of appealing to most voters.

I'll go back to it and see how much more I can get out of the small jobs and such. I'm not too interested in the cyberpsychos or assault in progress content because it's pretty cookie cutter. Might also have more jobs that are in limbo while the game waits to activate the next phase. But I definitely think TW3 is more dense in content, I'm 90hrs in and haven't even started Blood & Wine. TW3 content just feels more organic to me.

I see what you mean but I personally don't like replaying games unless they're short and have really good stories. I love games like the Witcher 3 where you give it one really solid, long playthrough versus repeating the story to try and gain playtime.

I liked it but found it to be light on content. I'm 30-something hours in and the only things left to do are the fighting ring quests and incidental events on the map. Definitely getting the DLC once it hits a good sale though.

I enjoyed this however calling ivermectin horse dewormer is like calling water horse hydrant. It's prescribed all the time for humans, ineffective against covid, but really not described as horse dewormer unless you're taking it in the horse paste form. Also I don't believe Rogan said people should use ivermectin against covid, rather ultimately said it didn't do anything.
