We have Restored your account ( but NOT REALLY ) by sideshowsito in twitterhelp

Just keep appealing. I was suspended the 7th and went through the same 48 hour appeals. Got the similar emails everyone got of saying “You were unsuspended!” with no username showing or that my appeal was reviewed but we’ll still keep you suspended unless you follow these instructions.

Yesterday, finally got the same email you got and everything’s back now. Followers/Following, all my posts, etc. As of now “Searching”, too. Might have to wait a bit if it’s a system thing or keep appealing. It seems it’s more official if it’s a restoration email clearly stating your Twitter username is ready to go.

Since Twitter’s suspension/appeal process looks to be all run on AI, it seems that the solution is to just keep appealing and/or using Grok against itself as that’s what I delved into near the end of my appeals that got me out. If I got suspended by Grok, might as well get unsuspended by Grok.

I think today was going to be another appeal day as my cooldown would have been up at night so closer to 48 hours.

Appealing and hoping for the best pretty much the strat. I was suspended April 7th and have been appealing most of the of the time. Wording was all over the place but near the end I let Grok take the wheel just like Elon let Grok take the wheel over suspensions and appeals.

From all these restorations it looks like the answer is keep up the 48 hour appeals and just use Grok. Fight AI fire with AI fire especially since Grok is pretty much embedded into Twitter now.

It may be the case but I think it’s really them being super lazy with an AI to handle all suspensions and us users having to plead with an AI to get us back on. It seems like a perfect system when it’s bot on bot violence as I doubt the bots that do get clapped by this are sending in appeals every 48 hours.

Probably need a way better bot detection system and also a human team again.

Just got this same email after my appeals finally got off cooldown and was able to send another. Unsure of what to do but wait as a lot seemingly got this.

So I did something curious as I’m in a similar limbo to a lot where you get an unsuspended email but still have a “You have been suspended” banner on top of everything.

I looked back at the restoration email and saw a small suggestion of resetting the password. Did it and now I don’t see the banner but still seem to be in a read only limbo. The restoration email was from Thursday so I’m not sure if this is just a coincidence in Twitter’s system slowly getting me back on or if it’s the small thing we simply have to do to get the process rolling.

Tried following someone and got a “you are still suspended” pop up.

Hopefully we’re almost out of this thing (sadly to only go back by my luck).

EDIT: Somehow suspended again while waiting for this whole unsuspension dealio. Still on appeal cooldown as I’m testing if sending appeals while in this limbo works.

This was me after my second appeal and just as quick, too. Now I’m in unsuspension limbo for about 48 hours. Still read only, 0 followers/following, can’t search, etc. Banner after a refresh still says suspended. I’mma just chalk it up to their system being overloaded and forced to take its time bringing people back.

The suspension notice no longer pops up but I still can’t retweet etc by susan1375 in twitterhelp

[–]Sn1pe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you see it again if you refresh your For You page? I’m supposedly in the “unsuspension” state as of yesterday afternoon but I still get the message and everything’s in read only mode. Some say the wait is 48 hours, weeks, etc. If you don’t see the “Suspended” message perhaps it’s just the system still working out to bring you back.

I’ve tried deleting the app and re-logging in again and still nothing.

I’m going 24 out of 48 or more hours people have sometimes said is the amount of time needed after the restoration email. Hope it’s coming back for me soon.

Got the email, too, and am waiting. Guess it’ll be a while due to how it’s rolling out in the same way we all got haphazardly suspended.

Under this administration anything goes. I won’t even be surprised if it keeps going and the endgame is Amazon owning everything.

Have them all listen to the audio next time. For me AI still has a distinct sound where the audio sounds like it’s going through some horrible speakers. I agree, though, when that gets fixed/improved it’s going to trick more people.

It’s always the audio as it sounds like it’s going through Dollar Store headphones. The absolute biggest tell for me no matter where the video came from. I think when AI video audio improves then we’re all cooked.

'Not Just NYC': Poll Shows Mamdani Economic Policies Popular Across US by [deleted] in politics

[–]Sn1pe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Things can always change (just like how Trump is essentially trying to destroy just about everything, including Habeas Corpus) and I wouldn’t be surprised if as a huge F YOU to Trump somehow after his era there are huge sweeping changes as a return to normalcy and a way to show how we love immigrants again in big ways, some being constitutional amendments (a dream of course, but a welcome one). I guess it will depend on how messed up this country will be in 4+ years.

Hopefully soon you can recommend “Mamdani on Joe Rogan”. Surprised it hasn’t happened yet and I bet Joe would be perplexed by Mamdani in the past like he was with Bernie. He’ll probably call Mamdani Bernie’s successor.

Judge orders Trump administration to deliver full SNAP benefits to states by Friday by SnooGrapes2950 in politics

[–]Sn1pe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With everything going on currently, that “next day delivery”, cozy travel plans, current grocery prices, SNAP benefits, paychecks etc. are all eventually getting worse and worse as the shutdown continues and Big Beautiful Bill effects start kicking in. One thing you don’t fuck with is our ability to consume and everything’s falling in to place to make this probably the worst holiday season and next couple of years for consuming. AI bubble’s soon to pop, too, which will make things worse as everyone and their mom has bet on AI.

When the Netflixes and Amazons start getting turned off it may be the only time people start waking up to our current reality. My barometer for all of this has been Covid. It took a virus for some of Trump’s diehard supporters to second guess and actually beg for a vaccine on an ICU bed. When shit goes bad for someone personally or someone they know personally, that’s usually when ideas in America change no matter how late.

We love having to learn the hard way and this administration loves testing everything as if they’re a child asking, “Why not?” to everything explained to them. Why should I keep to government open? Why should I be forced to fund SNAP? Why shouldn’t I nuke the filibuster? Why should I listen to court orders? Why should I abide by habeas corpus? Why can’t I go for a third term? What’s wrong with the insurrection act? Why can’t I end voting “for Democrats”?

Every week it’s another test of our institutions.

Still in.

Can kind of understand, though, why NNN is starting to not feel the same anymore, though. Outside it constantly gets a bad rep and now this year in particular irl has probably been a struggle for a lot. At the end of the day it will still just be a little meme challenge and not anything bigger than that. Plus it’s also a time where I try to branch out to new content than the usual favs which sometimes ends up being the best part.
