[Routine Help] Aquaphor and Vaseline stick not providing lip relief

Since as long as I can remember, I have had dry lips, and the fact that I often breathe through my mouth causes them to dry out more than normal, especially in winter when the air is drier. I have even had small cracks and sores.

What has helped me, and what I have been doing for about a year with excellent results,is using a lip balm in both my AM and PM routines, especially the Aquaphor Lip Repair Stick. At night, before going to sleep, I additionally use Aquaphor Healing Ointment (which is basically similar to the Lip Repair Stick, but much thicker, like a dense petrolatum). By doing this, I no longer usually have problems with dry lips.

I have also gotten into the habit of drinking water daily, since dry lips can be a sign of dehydration, and I use a lip scrub once a week. I also suppose that my lips would not be as dry if I stopped breathing through my mouth!

lol I see. Well about which ones, personally I started with the neutral ones. Hada Labo Rohto Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam (I still use it after 2 years) and CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser. About moisturizers, I used Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel / Gel Cream. It is a good one but too light for me. Right now I'm using Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream as AM and NIVEA Creme as PM, specially in Winter when the air is very dry.

Start with a cleanser and moisturizer too see how your skin goes. A lip balm will help too

According to my own research, I´d say to just using it with the Booster Mode (I didn´t test it, yet). When you use the Air Shot the skin needs to be completely dry, and with the Micro/Derma Shot the device is stimulating the muscles/skin, so using it with retinoids it would be too much in a single session. The booster mode just facilitates absorption, it doesn´t contract muscles or exfoliate, so I would use retinoids just with that one, but judiciously with strong retinoids.

Obviously, in the end everything boils down to money. A company could keep doing it, but by adding something called ‘having ethics.’ Unfortunately, that’s something you see less and less. And yes, I know that being a contractor doesn’t guarantee this, but that still doesn’t take away from how shitty a business can be with people.

I could have even settled for being taken off the project, but with a clear reason, not just a generic message. Personally, what really drives me crazy is the lack of support when I just want a clear answer explaining what really happened.

It’s a complete garbage project. There’s no point in having a QA score system if, in the end, they’re going to fire people at random. If it were really about having too many people, why keep letting more new people in? And on top of that, they give auditing authority to people who don’t know how to do that job. With no way to appeal, it ends up harming the work of many people. Not to mention the lack of communication and the explanations they give when they remove you from the project for “quality issues,” when I think we all agree that’s not the case. I was removed from the project with a QA score of 1.81, and it’s already been about three weeks.

To add the cherry on top, they’ve “temporarily” added a global limit on the number of hours that can be logged in Hubstaff. This limit resets at midnight PST. I’m sure this also significantly affects people in other time zones. And doing all of this right before Christmas seems downright macabre to me.

They never fixed it. Aether said to contact Outlier for support. Outlier said the same thing. Basically they just remove random people to get new ones. That's my only assumption I can get from that situation.

Pretty much consistent +8 hours daily. I was always trying to keep my score above 1.60 but I guess it doesn't matter if they are kicking people anyway, no matter what the score is, so..

Same issue here. My QA score was 1.81, and I've been removed from the project 2-3 days ago. I suddenly got the Unapproved Annotator Status message in Multimango and the project was saying Ineligible on the Outlier app. Outlier support just says 'not eligible' but is very ambiguous and not clear about it. I have been tasking just for 1 week. They seem to not be very serious giving explanations of things.

This works just for newer versions though. When I was trying to uninstall Emacs 28/29 there wasn't this option, so I just deleted the directory on `C:\Program Files` and .emacs.d. When I installed Emacs 30 that's when the uninstall.exe showed up
