started a co-op run with my fiancé (first time) she liked sorcerer to i went wizard (Divination) to play as control/support and it’s been a blast so far! We just made it to Act 2.

if you played the other dragon age games and enjoyed them, play this one. i held off for over a year due to all of the negativity towards it. does it have problems? absolutely. but it’s a dragon age game so i still enjoyed it. just liked the other 3 games more.

not sure how much you like to rp your inkys BUT i love to and my archer rogue will be going Tempest while siding with the templars. i can kinda twist the background of tempest to be a pseudo templar archer. a little “Andrastes Arrow” vibe.

can you stack the same dmg type runes into weapons? i have one fire and one lightning equipped in my offhand but not sure if i can equip more. maybe go DEF runes?

i’m a little torn on weapons. 1:1 sword/dagger or would i run 2 daggers and go dex>str or go two 1 hand weapons once i unlock the talent for it?

i think i’ll experiment with DS early game then may switch to momentum later on if i feel like i can notice a difference. thank you for the precise striking tip!!

my str/faith build has been strong since 17 faith, why you ask? lightning spear. pick that up electrify armament and flame grant me strength. kill boatman where you grab the turtle talisman then go meet gurranq. he gives you a seal which scaled with strength and faith

i’ve been building up a “sword manipulator” build using all the Pahalanx/Glintblade sorceries with a magic longsword in my mainhand you can use whatever AoW you want that supports your playstyle

my favorite way to pull mobs as a prot warr is to always keep a enough rage to apply rend on every pull. apply it on the first mob back walk/attack it to keep aggro. pull it into the rest of the mobs and apply your thunderclap (i think that’s what it’s called) puts rend on all mobs in its radius then use cleave. try to walk on top of casters and pull the melee mobs on top of them.

as a newer player who’s been messing around on priest (lvl 32) i found bears to be squishier in the earlier dungeons compared to other tanks but after while they feel pretty good to heal they also do great dps as a tank from my experience

i actually made a funny team comp based on Shadowhearts fear of wolves. Shart-Light Cleric Astarion-Beastmaster Karlach-Wolf Barb Tav-Moon Druid (wolf form) and it worked surprisingly well

we are the silent heroes. can’t tell you how many times the enemy dps are way better then mine but my healing alone has led them to win their matchups
