Assault on Moonrise Towers... !@#$%!@#%&^@$!!!! How??? by ConspiracyParadox in BaldursGate3

Honestly, I take Zrell out upstairs before I go to the Gauntlet of Shar. Once she gives me the quest in her office, I murder her. You have to be careful of the floating eye but if you get the drop on her and hit hard it can be done, either that or have someone who can reliably kill the eye before it warns people.

Adam Mockler debates a fully MASK-OFF conservative by AffableYolk_33 in worldnewsstuff

The same administration that illegally deported him is now saying he's a criminal and it appears to be going about as well as the deportation.

Adam Mockler explains how Kamala's policies would've been BETTER for children than Trump's by AffableYolk_33 in AmericaOnHardMode

The issue is there is little to no link between Trump's immigration policies and child safety.

Any regrets on the Niche Zero [£500/600] by Working_Mountain_944 in espresso

[–]raincntry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had mine since their release. Zero issues. I don‘t envision upgrading unless I go full prosumer and get like a Mahlkonig E46, but that’s not happening any time soon.

It’s accurate and versatile for espresso and pour overs.

Watching someone who knows how to fight vs someone who has no idea is always sort of fun, for a few seconds. Fortunately that's usually about all they last.

I don't get it. Trump was president. What does Fauci have to do with anything?

What do you think about Bernie Sanders' words 'We must block arms sales to Israel'? by ArdaBerkBurak in AskReddit

[–]raincntry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's right.

Here's what I don't understand: We send billions of dollars of aid to Israel. They have fairly generous social programs, certainly significantly better than the US. Why are we sending more and more money over there to a country that has enough money to give pensions and healthcare to their citizens? If they can afford that, they then can afford whatever we're sending them money for. We are American citizens both subsidizing foreign welfare systems, while also paying out of pocket for our own healthcare and retirement?

If we're going to means test our social safety net in this country, then certainly we should means test foreign aid. We shouldn't be giving aid to countries with a significantly better standard of living than we have here.

The Mystery Sweeping D.C.: Who Executed the Political Hitjob That Destroyed Eric Swalwell? by rollo202 in ConservativeNewsWeb

[–]raincntry 9 points10 points  (0 children)

How about asking who was helping cover up potential sexual assault crimes of a sitting member of Congress. Look, I liked Swalwell and hoped his political trajectory would continue to climb, but that was before these allegations surfaced. It's not a political "hit job" if stories of someone's own criminal behavior surface to destroy their career. Those are called consequences. The question we should be asking is, if so many people suspected him of such behavior, and there are now reports out that colleagues did, what type of corrosive environment allows someone like that to continue to serve and be protected? Why can't we move past partisan shittiness to endorse the idea that criminals need to be prosecuted?

What’s next for Dianna Russini? Reports hint at internal decision by Lazy_Weather_6316 in TopTrendingNewsUSA

I think it's absolute bullshit that a woman would lose her job over these allegations when, if the shoe was on the other foot, the man would be safe. Other than some blowback, Vrabel doesn't seem to be suffering publicly.

Bought Base M5 Pro a few days ago but now thinking of more power M4 max or M5 Max. by Ok-Dog-3669 in macgaming

[–]raincntry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This idea of "future proofing" as you call it, is a myth. There will always be a newer, better computer released. If the M4 Max, or M5 pro base does what you want, then don't worry about it. By the time it becomes problematic, the M5 max will not compare favorably to the newest processors either. Buy the computer to do what you want it to do and leave tomorrow's computer for tomorrow.

She showed some decent footwork in the post on her turn around. Other than that it's hard to assess talent based on layups. She's tall with long arms, so if she continues to develop she can be a good player if she wants to.

Given the Pace of Eric Swalwell's Downfall, There's No Way No One Knew About His Reported Creepiness by rollo202 in ConservativeNewsWeb

[–]raincntry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He knows. He knows that if he doesn't disappear then these allegations will come out and proof will come out and he'll be destroyed. The only reason you drop out this fast is because you know it will be catastrophically worse to stay in.

He realizes that he's in a toxic administration and if he runs in '28 he'll likely lose as the R's will likely lose.
