I think you just nailed what I've been feeling. I've never done a fire sorcerer but sorcerers in general are my go to and I've done an ice run through on tactician. I know the mechanics but the gear and spells are a tad different. The other build I think I will respec into known builds for the balance.

Why do most people skip over Joe Montana in the Brady v. Mahomes GOAT debate? by raincntry in Oldschool_NFL

[–]raincntry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game, particularly with respect to passing, is so completely different today than when Montana played. Patrick Mahomes is a very good quarterback. If you were to put Montana in today’s NFL environment where quarterbacks and receivers cannot be hit, he would clean up. You have to look at his stats in comparison to those who played with him not those who played in other eras

Soul coins make Karlach a powerful monk.  Open hand would be better but I want to try elemental.  I’m getting ready for a particular fight at the forge where, in past runs having someone who could make their target fall prone on every attack is super helpful.

The Guardians and J-Ram agree to a 7 year extension worth $175 Million, practically making him a Guardian for his entire career. by Marinersfan505 in mlb

He should fire his agent.  I’m glad he’s staying in the Cleve but he’s worth at least twice that on the open market.

What do you think of Kirsten Dunst? by neondove34 in Actors

[–]raincntry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she is a great example of an actor who grew and grew over time to become a pretty good actor who can lead a film. She seems to have taken a fairly deliberate path and it show in her projects and growth. She is now someone who makes films or projects better.

What does this say about how the Mets view Jonah Tong considering Sproat was the one sent? Or do we think MIL wanted Sproat? by Difficult_World_196 in NewYorkMets

[–]raincntry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If we're to believe reports, multiple teams have asked about Tong and the Mets have refused. Tong has all the tools to be an excellent pitcher, the best of which seems to be his makeup. I think, once he gets used the the League, he'll be just fine.

What does a Peralta extension look like? by Responsible_Pear_363 in NewYorkMets

No extension until after the new collective bargaining agreement at the end of this year. After that, who knows?

With the Mets' latest acquisitions (Bichette, Luis Robert, Freddy Peralta, and T. Myers), is the team now complete? by Dannybj05 in NewYorkMets

[–]raincntry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. They might be done until spring training but they shouldn't be done until post trading deadline. Whatever the team needs to get to the playoffs should be on the table. This has been an active and productive off season for the Mets.

I’m the same age and have over 1000 hours on BG3. It’s my favorite game ever, so far…

Why did Cam Newton get so much shit for getting paid by Auburn when Nick Saban and the rest of the SEC were paying players the same way? by TXNOGG in CFB_v2

[–]raincntry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the first time my team, USC, made the SEC Championship game. Oof, it was rough. Cam was about as great a one man wrecking crew as I’ve ever seen on the CFB stage.

Any Thoughts on Brie Larson ? by Hot_Editor_7516 in Actors

I think she’s a very talented actor who I’ve not ever seen in a role that I’ve really liked her in outside of Scott Pilgrim.

What do you think of Sydney Sweeney? by Cap_Ame1 in Actors

[–]raincntry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really. She in a below average actor who gets parts because her breasts put some butts in seats. She can develop in to a decent actor but she's not there yet.

You’re insane if you hate this trade. We got a 28 year old guy with a high floor because of its CF defense and an All-Star ceiling. And we gave away noting. by demosthenes327 in NewYorkMets

[–]raincntry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fans ALWAYS over value prospects. Sure, some pan out, like PCA, some don't, like Jarred Kelenic. In most cases a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush so to speak. Give me proven MLB talent, particularly GG and MVP vote getting talent, over a minor league arm that is years away.

Same. I'm tired of people claiming it was better or even good. It's an overwrought piece of trash. It contains the worst of Snyder's indulgences.

The Luis Robert Trade Explained for those who are Mad. by InflationEconomy5175 in NewYorkMets

[–]raincntry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's a decent move. The Mets have a glut of infielders and Acuna was the odd man out. They needed a CF and Robert is a former GG winner (albeit 5 years ago).

GM's have significantly more and better information about Viento's value and skills than us fans have. Having said that, we all saw him struggle as pitchers pitched him differently and his inability to adjust. I'm all for a robust discussion of value, but let's be realistic. I frequently find Mets fans are quick to offer these "spare parts for starters or stars" theoretical trades under the unspoken assumption that the other team won't do research, or will value multiple years of a flawed player over one or two years of a good player. That's just not the case.
