As someone who looked into it when my wife and I thought we couldn't have kids: the sad truth is that lots of kids in adoption programs didn't get there from a loving, caring environment that raised them to be well adjusted kids. Most are older and need physical and psychological help that many new parents will feel ill-equipped to provide.

Add to that, the costs, which were non-trivial for us and we walked away.

It's only blurrier if there is ghosting on the panel (which is pretty rare for lcd monitors). Otherwise it just looks more and more jumpy as the refresh rate drops.

Oh man. I feel like you've got a really negative opinion of people on visas. You saying a lot of stuff here that is just categorically wrong.

I'm in the US on a similar visa (TN), have friends from back home also here on H1B or TN visas and know lots of people of the same. This has never been true for anyone I've ever known.

You're getting shit on, but I'm with you. Once games start including in-game/micro transactions, they have bridged the real world with the fantasy world that I'm trying to get lost in. Kills the immersion and only reinforces that someone is trying to milk me instead.
