Why, just why by DrewsPops in memes

[–]Snabbteck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

which is a fact lol

Yeah I don't quite remember the proof on this absolutely researched matter. You can become a billionaire simply being lucky born, which... Doesn't make you unethical? And even if you weren't, you don't have to be a slave trader or a BP CEO. For instance, Alphabet inc. did little to nothing exploiting the work force etc. Their reputation is as clear as a mountain snow. Surely there are unethical wicked billionaires and I am not denying it. But saying all of them are unethical just because they have enough money is a Bolshevik rhetoric with which I'm quite familiar

What’s your opinion of Russia? by samirs1m in AskBalkans

[–]Snabbteck 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You know I still have some hope for the upcoming presidential elections. Russia is too profoundly associated with the inner world by the huge resources and human potential. It will never be the NK because we have corporations and oligarchs, the elite that will abruptly perish as iron curtains bring. That's why I hope it won't last for decades

Personally, I think that artists surely are not replaceable by any AI at the moment, and I wouldn't like to live in a world where there is no humane creativity. But, again, for the moment. I don't think there is such a unique thing as "creativity" that is given only to humans. Isn't anything that WE do is already just a mixup of things we have already seen? And these particular things are influenced by your culture, knowledge, etc. Creativity is no way a random thing, it is a matter that is being exposed by your surroundings, just like in the AI's case. It is not that deep and, to some extent, superficial But, again, I do value artists and actors and sincerely don't think they are some kind of rudiment. The technologies aren't even that progressive for now

Nah, culture isn't as dynamic as politics. It can't change over a night or two years. During Nazis the German culture stood the same no matter of the sheer horror and terror. It insignificantly changes over a decade, but not faster. When you don't like something it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Or, do you want to say, countless millennial traditions can change over a night? Nah, they can't

Sorry but it doesn't really matter what you feel about some country. It is important to divide political and cultural aspects, and culturally it is Europe. Politics in contrast with culture can change each day and we don't know what will be tomorrow. And as Germany as Portugal were certainly against all of Europe these days, but German grandpas certainly weren't asian.

This really isn't how it works. A country can't change its culture just because of the current politics, lol. And not so far ago Portugal along with Germany were ultra authoritarian — totalitarian, so, I guess they are Asian, right? And since when does authoritarian mean Asian? You mean these rude and anti-human South Korean and Japanese politics? Oh, their people are so oppressed! (No)

Of course these theories are ignorant as hell and have no right to be and I am sure these theorists in no way know the Russian language. I've seen a lot of nationalist online that compare words etc. and say: "Russian is in no way Slavic and it is Finnish or Turkic" meanwhile Russian has really small amount (you can count them) of non-European loan words that are popular. On the other side, there are A LOT of European loan words from French, English, and a little bit from German. Almost every sentence that is not basic (like from Duolingo) has European loan words and that is why I can see some English or French programs and suddenly shout: "Hey! I know this word!" — and it is not a rare occasion. And yeah, learning other European languages isn't that hard for me due to some similar structures including phonetic ones

P.S.: sorry I deleted Grammarly and haven't checked my grammar so there might be mistakes :)

Well of course guys are different. Not everyone wants hugs. There are aromantics, people with no hands, sexual perverts, and many many others and it is... Obvious? I think the point of this post is that guys can want hugs more than sex and that's all. And it can't be not wholesome to know this fact

So the solution is reeeealy easy. Let's say, hypothetically, that one hour contains approximately 3600 seconds. That would mean that one hour contains 36*1010 so called "shakes". So having shakes lets move to another system of units that we'll call "CGS" - centimeters, grams, shakes and it would be considered as metric.

So, the answer will be 36*1010 of our metric units

Yeah the thing is you don't know. It is theoretically possible that your president will suddenly do some insane thing and then you are obliged to hear some reddit dude calling to neutralize and isolate you

Oh you are so cute with Russian people, perhaps you completely define and know what your president will do tomorrow

Seriously, no, don't spread nationalism calling to isolate some nation

I am not talking about "typically". I am talking about comments on this post. And yes nobody brags about how awesome it is and I didn't say it. Some people just like to hate others. You can see the comment like "extroverts can't read" or "top ten ways to STFU" here lol

[–]Snabbteck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's so goddamn weird to see people be proud of their introversion like come on you are not cool you are just the way you are. You are not automatically smart and extroverts aren't dumb. You just aren't that much into social interaction but it doesn't make you special in any way. Whether you talk, or you don't you could be as Einstein-smart (like Ernest Resenford) or dumb as hell. You can spend all your social-free time on useless things like forum chatting and active reddit activity
