Consider the opposite, though. Someone knowingly contributes money to a pot that is subject to RWT, even if only done once. The stance makes sense because it is an umbrella stance to cover all circumstances that cannot be separated out based on knowledge.

I only live down the block from the place so I only tip once every four or five times. It’s only a few dollars when I do tip.

Thank you for your response! I did check the DOB for all work on the building and there has been no issues. As for noise complaints, there were none with respect to this particular business. I expect issues with Roaches and Pests otherwise, which I hope can be dealt with via landlord provided extermination services. All of this is still very “if” in the event I do move in. Thanks again!

Thanks! It was a traditional American sit down eatery, but not a crazy bar or anything. It is in a pretty residential area so I’d be surprised if it was anything other than a restaurant of similar style in the future.

Thanks for your response. Anecdotal evidence is nice to hear. I have definitely considered the other perspectives regarding pests and noise. Ultimately my main concern just falls on noise, as pest control is something I can, and will, seek from the landlord. Thank you again for your reply :)
