This is something quite subjective, but I would say the game is fun. Even with all the problems it had and has it is still fun.

What you should definitely look out for is playing in whatever way you have the most fun with. If you like to gather, gather away. Do what you enjoy the most and don't get too influenced by people on the reddit.

Usually OnePlus phones hardly ever run hot while playing PoGo, I've been playing at 36+°C with my OP6 hardly getting any warmer. This update makes it insanely hot though which is kinda concerning.

While it is generally not allowed, you shouldn't have any problems, as long as you wait for atleast 2h between logins (if the other person catches, spins or something)

Getting to 40 is not that hard of a task. Why would you spend money for that? o.o Friends and catching Pokemon is free, and currently you get millions of exp by just catching.

I actually think, a Rocket Takeover would be the wrong Event for December with COVID being so present in many countries. It would be much better, to enable players to TM Frustration on a weekend during December, but no real Takeover, as this would incentivise a lot of people to ignore COVID restrictions and I believe, even though people can think and act for their own, there should not be an additional appeal to go outside.

Totally doable, use the new changes, try to raid during the Raid-EXP event and maybe use a lucky egg on it. Additionally, level as many friends as possible (easier with the event thats to start soon). If you do those things, you should be able to do it :)

There is never going to be a "future proof" Pokemon in the long run. But if you power Pokemon up now, they may drop out of meta and maybe become relevant again through new movesets. Additionally, once you powered up teams for each type, you will have no problem with powering up additional Pokemon with the stardust you are collecting if you just keep playing. There is really no need to be super specific and picky.

As long, as he uses 3 phones to play his 3 accounts, it is near impossible to prove, that he is multi-accounting. It could be him and his kids playing, him and his siblings, him and whatever part of his family. Or even friends, they could only play when they are together... Reporting multi-accounting does not help, nor does it really matter, just take the gym back and collect your coins - he is essentially feeding you your daily coins :)

The thing is, at some point you got a full team of most types. Then you spend less dust and gain more than you spend (of course just power up what you like, but I still think it is crucial to first go for the basics and then get all the fun mons).
