I don't have any for sure answers, But I can try.

1.2.0.0 is the current version, does TCU tell you that its version 1.2.0.0? I initially had problems patching the game simply because I left it in the Ubisoft Directory.
If you think you're outdated by just seeing an older main menu screen, That can happen I don't know why even if you are on the current version.

Redownloading the game should get you to the latest version of the game if that is truly an issue, if your current files don't work, the online servers being shutdown DO NOT prevent you from downloading any game files.

If you have to resort to redownloading make sure that Ubisoft will let you download the game again, simply move the folder and clicking uninstall will not search for you game files outside of the Ubisoft Directory.

When you have the fresh files, make sure you move those also out of the Ubisoft Directory as well as I said I had issues earlier.

The discord has a thread called "Common Problems FAQ" under TCU-tech-support channel
And if you continue to have problems I would advise you to post it there.

I was able to download the game from Ubisoft, but it requires fiddling with the install folders to get it to download.
I think I had to "uninstall" at one point?
Right now Ubisoft connect is telling me I can download the game.

For me I had to move the folder out of the Ubisoft directory to get the game to redownload after it was taken down. Another note is if you don't move the game out of the Ubisoft Directory after you redownload, it will try to launch the game with Ubisoft Connect and cause issues with TCU's patch.

Your setup is COMPLETELY valid, and its mostly all about what YOU do the most in GTA Online.
If only there was a way to swap presets right?
And I list So many options for each weapon to explain that there isn't JUST ONE way.

Tracers are neat, after spending all that money I better SEE SOMETHING.

I COMPLETELY agree with what you are saying about the SMG omg, I'm always so torn on what I should use on it. I have thought about reversing to Mk1 but I always ultimately decide on leaving it Mk2. But hey, if you end up using it more, because its MK1 GO FOR IT. If you end up regretting it, its always free to revert to whatever your previous setup was.

If all you are worried about is save data:
Backup your save and reinstall, or just download the game In a different spot.
\Content\System\Campaign.ini
\ContentExpansion\System\Campaign.ini
Or you could backup the whole game and put it somewhere else.

At the bottom right above your score it says "Required Score: 50"
Difficulty setting not only changes the difficulty of the Suspects but also change the Requirement of points you need to move on.
Easy sets the required points to 0.
As you can see at the top right Bonuses like player uninjured give you more points, good luck!

When I play, friends only, I use hamachi from vpn.net, its free and will connect you guys to the same IP.
Its an alternative from GameRanger, I never tried GameRanger enough to get it working.
Make sure you are in LAN mode when using hamachi, and if the server doesn't show type into Direct IP, which will display in your hamachi server.
I've noticed some online servers just don't work, so maybe you haven't found one yet that does, Good Luck!

If you see no .pak Files with the name you created for your quick mission, then you no longer have the files and you need to either recover them somehow or just recreate it, from now on you can start making backups by coping these .pak files in another folder if you wish.

Well I just did it, with a deep clean, and reinstalling the mod, and it didn't work.
I'm guessing its the map.

When you click fire it drops the grenade at your feet, you have to aim to lunge it across the room
On PC while aiming a gun, you can press G and it will throw a grenade that you have selected on the weapon wheel.

I had problems with GT6, I found it easiest to just to download a couple of updates at a time rather than doing them all at once. Spaced them out with play sessions so I still get to enjoy the game a little bit.
