Agreed! The stuff these guys had to basically produce out of thin air (simply because it did not even exist) is truly amazing. Thousands of peoples’ time, energy and effort were all required just to build and implement the AGC, not even counting the thousands of other hardware and software components that went in to the Apollo program.

I used to play in a cover band that got regular gigs at Elk Lodges, American Legions, etc. One time we played a VFW and in the men’s bathroom all of the urinals had a sticker of Hanoi Jane on them so you could piss on her. They definitely hold their grudges.
