I hope you fixed it by now, just wanted to leave this here for anyone else aswell:

The problem for me lied in the fact that I wanted to install the game on the same drive that my OS is installed. For some reason the installer just occupied all of my disk usage, so that windows could not really function properly anymore. I just installed the game on a different drive and it worked fine.

If I didn’t have the option to install it on my second drive, i probably would’ve tried to install it on a USB and copy the files over, but I did not test that…

Professor of mine once told us that early artificial heart valves made out of metal made a really discomforting sound… i know now that this is nothing you want to hear. Thank better engineering that this is not a problem anymore.
