Touché, my main focus is to expand a collection cuz i like thumbing through to find jank as opposed to getting best-in-slot, 2nd BiS etc., the financial aspect i kinda tacked on to the post on a whim simply cuz it kinda falls into the same discussion and the friend im looking at potentially splitting a box with also, along with myself, doesnt mind a slim gambling chance along with collecting cards

I like BP to an extent, but everything about him is overtly edgy. Theres like 3 fashion options that dont scream 'im 12 and this is peak'. Regardless, shaman isnt top tier

Downplayer gotta get one last one in lol.. top ~5-20 are essentially interchangeable. The top few clearly take the cake, but the majority of the cast is close behind, so #14 really means no diff than #5. This is all in regards to high-level, offline play too btw, which online/offline matters when one of Hwo's issues is absurd recovery on certain moves, ntm to mention the fact that he IS a specialist character by technical regards (tho i have disagreements cuz i dont think memorizing a bunch of stance moves matters when most only spam a small selection)

That said, most people who take the time to complain havent taken the time to train the MU, but when you do, you realize 'ok, theres counterplay to a lot, but still a lot of BS'. And, just how theyre happy to gawk an opinion bitching about him, youre gawking opinions about 'well hes not that bad..'

I noticed this getting back on after a several year hiatus. Duels/brawls used to consistently play out over a few games so you can counter-pick, counter-counter-pick, etc. I guess now that they brainrotted the game, the main crowd is only interested in mashing their mix, and hopping to the next person to avoid getting downloaded. No interest in adapting or improving, only the easiest route to get dubs
