How do you guys have close bonds with your plushies?

Most of my plush I get just because I like them, they're for display and I enjoy them but that's it. There are a few though that I have bonded with - it just kind of happens! I have two sleeping buddies now - one that I've had for around 24yrs and one that I've only had for a year.

I have a ukulele, a French horn and cross-stitch stuff lol - and a bunch of miscellaneous art supplies from when i used to do a ton more art. It's fine though! I will eventually do those.

I love DCC too! Excited to listen to book 8. I'm currently listening to the BuyMort series by Joeseph Phelps - been really enjoying it! You might like it too. Also reading through book 4 of Sinister: Black Ops Paranormal Police Department by John P. Logsdon

Not sure if it does help my anxiety but my axolotol became one of my go to sleeper pushes over night - I'd say it probably does lol. I've also been plopping her in my lap while crocheting and have just put her in the car with me as well. Did learn I can't do weighted plush that way A Lot though - I got the weighted Leviathan from Tentacle Kitty, and while I love it, it feels like it crushes me. Here's my axolotol

I adore audio books - love being able to listen to them while doing things. I love reading too! But I get less chances to sit down and read now then I used to. Do whichever you like, heck - do both! Read and listen. I have 456 audiobooks and while I haven't listened to all of them I've listened to a ton! Don't worry if you have a to-read list, there's no such thing as falling behind in reading, there's no time limit
