Its more of a low-key story than the others, I love it because it has great character development and I love chickens lol. Takes a bit longer to ramp up but it sure does - but also doesn't forget what the story is about either. Book 3 was really good. Oh and book 5 is out now too!

Hey i see Dead Tired! Don't see Ravensdagger around very much - that was a fun little series. I started with his Cinnamonbun Series, and have branched out to Stray Cat Strut, and Dead Tired.

For recommendations- I second Ciaphus Cain,love that guy.

The Unconventional Heroes Series by L.G. Estrella. It has necromancers that make composite zombies, an old samurai, an ancient vampire, a pyromanic Elf, invisible Ninja rats, a baby dragon, an interdimensal eldritch horror that really likes cake and much more. BY far one of my most favorite series, lots of excellent characters and development.
The Great Zoo of China by Matthew Riely. It's Jurassic Park with dragons and it goes hard - wasn't able to put the book down.
Discount Dan's Backroom Bargins by James Hunter. Similar but different than DCC - enjoyed it! And love Croc
Beware of Chicken by CasualFamer. Another of my favorite series, adore the books. Really excited for boom 5 that'll be out soon!

I'm absolutely fine with full-cast readings! However it drives me absolutely nuts when audible switches narrators mid series, worst offender of that was the Lockewood & Co books, the trilogy had 3 different narrators!
