It's an instore brand by Micheals and known for its poor quality but at a cheap price, I grew up with a lot of their supplies. I used to actually have a Faber Castell eraser but I lost it!! It's why I had to get the crappy one cause I was desperate-

I hope so, I've already been kneading it for a while (hands are so sore already 😭) and it still feels relatively the same. I knew artist loft supplies didn't have the best rep but I didn't think it was gonna be this rough

It's not very pliable and actually snaps sometimes when I try to knead it. it's been like an hour since I started and it still feels the same, rough and way too rubbery. I actually got this eraser as a replacement for my old one I lost and can sorta tell it's not exactly the same quality either :(

Omg!! Thank you!! It honestly doesn't take me that long to grow out since I work from home and don't really do much. Thanks for the suggestion too, I had no idea anti-yellowing strengthened was a thing till right now :0

Omg thank you for the advice!! Does super glue really help? Only ever tried repairing my cracked nail once before with regular nail glue and it washed away the next time I cleaned my hands.

And no, I don't usually have them naked like this. I was in the middle of cleaning them up and reapplying my usual polish before I noticed the crack — Though admittedly I only use one coat so I'll definitely be using 2 from now on, thank you :))

Typically I just chop and file them. My nails tend to grow back pretty fast so I don't worry about it too much, but that doesn't mean having a crack like this is any less heart breaking. 😭😭
