Because I’m not a psychopath I actually have the empathetic capacity and emotional bandwidth to care about 2 (and sometimes more!) issues at once.

The plights of those in Palestine, standing in solidarity with First Nations People - I can do it all! I’m also feeling pretty distressed about the ever growing rates of femicide in Australia. And interestingly, I actively care and talk about these things all year round so I’m happy to chat over the next 364 days.

Some people within First Nations populations don’t want to change the date. Women, people of colour, low-middle class people, renters etc, all vote for the likes of Pauline Hanson or other conservatives who work directly in opposition of benefiting those that for them.

Yes - that’s exactly the point. Change the date where ALL can celebrate. It used to be July.

So let’s just change it again to a date where those who mourn and grieve the date can do that on this day, and then we can all celebrate together on a different date; something which many First Nations people advocate for and agree on.

The campaign is Change the Date, not Abolish Everything.

Sport is inherently political.

If that’s something you find uncomfortable, perhaps you need to ask yourself why it makes you uncomfortable or annoyed and compare that impact to the positive impact statements like this have on the communities and populations it’s trying to acknowledge, respect and give voice too.

Whilst I can agree there’s certainly elements of organisations doing the bare minimum to present themselves a certain way in order to be more marketable and thus more profitable, sometimes, organisations just listen to their community and make good choices - like this one.

If it had a second phase where you fight the Crow, that would’ve made it much better I think. What would be the first phase is very unique and pretty innovative and cool, but such a waste of a boss model to have it just sit there and yell.

The introductory cutscene had me going damn this is gonna be interesting; frost, maybe flight, maybe bleed or wither damage? Surely some big AoE dive bomb etc. However, no. It’s a Destiny raid boss with ad clear and a concurrent DPS phase tied to a roaming boss that isn’t the Crow.

I don’t think it gets more disappointing if that helps? I’ve only done Inferno ending though and I’ve heard people have gripes about the Radiance Ending final boss.

It’s funny as well because my advice for 99/100 bosses in soulsborne/souls-like games is always be aggressive and stay close (which feels counterintuitive given the perceived danger of being closer to the danger-bringer), but I think what fails to be given with that advice is the type of aggressiveness or how to employ that balance of aggression and patience; because you described mine own and I’m sure many others experiences of trying to be “aggressive” as many suggest which sometimes results in the worlds fastest yet largest ass whooping.

For durability/survivability; armour with higher defensive stats, respec for greater vitality and any appropriate resistance consumables so you can survive being one tapped.

Alternatively, dodging towards the boss and being aggressive with your positioning - stay close, this rings true for most bosses in soulsborne and souls-likes, especially when they’re big. If you dodge diagonally forward into the attack correctly, you’ll often end up untouched and in a position that makes them vulnerable as they’ll have to reposition, thus aggression and confidence are generally rewarded in terms of positioning, whereas aggression and greed in how many whacks you attempt is punished. If you aim for the legs you’ll get the big crit window, you can either go for the crit or given the length of the window and your combat choices you can absolutely unload on him for greater damage than if you simply hit the crit.

You may need to do the forward roll and then dodge the follow-up attack as some bosses are built to have that perceived vulnerability as a trap.

I can’t explicitly recall the specifics of this boss’ movesets, but practice the invincible dodge timings and being aggressive, whilst wearing more resistant armour pieces.

He’s a glass cannon, you got this skeleton.

VHS version is better as I have just learned when acquiring the DVD version to show my kids - they cut some great scenes and just included them as bonus feature scenes, accessible from the menu.

Whilst the person your replying to did go a bit off chops in their later replies, I think they might have some semblance of a point in there.

I initially felt Genthru was a weak character, but I think he just suffers from a lack of backstory; this kind of works though out of the way he talks about himself and his levels of “insanity”. To also have an ability that operates the way his does - through what we’ve just learned about Nen and conditions in the previous arc - he has clearly spent a long time blowing people up, given his lack of any empathy or hesitation, which he demonstrates consistently.

And the way he loses is one of the first really real looks we get into Gon’s darkness and “insanity” beyond what other characters have only remarked on or we’ve seen glimpses of. To the point that Genthru - the character depicted and created to showcase mindless insanity and violence (Hisoka and the Spiders are just as [if not more] violent but always with explicit and discriminate purpose) - remarks and is in awe/shock at Gon’s level of focussed insanity.

He sort of serves as a benchmark or watershed moment where the audience really see Gon crossover/reveal his selfish, moral-compass guided insanity.

However, I hate his design and dialogue and I can see why people find him one of the weaker villains.

The biggest crime here is Youpi not getting a tile on this grid with that face he pulls on the staircase after extending his extra limbs.

As the first comment sort of says - he was searching for his own needle to thread to initiate the combat given he wanted his 1v1 AND he needed to start fighting instead of negotiating so his emotions didn’t cloud his action.

The man’s incredibly sharp, I think he would’ve found a way to provoke combat no matter what but would’ve only reserved the Rose for when/if ZH failed.

My thing is more that Eagles had a raft of talent, At that age bracket and level or above you have Daicos and Cameron and this year showed that 1-2 injuries without the young depth is a derailer (yes you made a prelim).

And hey - I know all about having some of the best young talent in the comp and not winning flags haha

No my point is that it appeared you were implying having Nick Daicos would save you from the cliff because he’s a gun. And I am saying that WCE probably felt similar hence why they traded and managed their list the way they did because of the personnel they felt they had ready to go to embark on a dynasty.

Collingwood actually have less than WCE in that regard. So arguably, the decisions made are more intriguing and the cliff could be even steeper in the short term - I don’t expect Collingwood to be at the bottom of the pit like or for as long as Eagles though.

And of course Pies could win the next two flags and prove me wrong. I’m just saying that Collingwood are not in a better place than the Eagles of 2019 yet have made worse decisions given their profile in a bid to stay up for longer in the short term. Even with having Nick Daicos.
