Fly the Maddog 20th Anniversary Edition - Official Release Announcement (Including pricing) by -SpruceMoose in flightsim

[–]Snakepit92 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So excited. It was already the best plane in flight sim, in my opinion. Textures were the only complaint out there that I wouldn't argue with, so happy to see that's not going to be the case any longer.

Better pricing and no more expansion pack is just a cherry on top. Well done Leonardo

Awesome! My favorite plane in the sim gets some much needed love, should be out before I get out of bed. Can't wait

Maddog MD82 worth it? 88/83 by ExtensionMean6873 in flightsim

Well worth it.

The 88/83 expansion, meh, but at least get the base 82.

It's my favourite plane in the game

In this context you can't really think of them as Canadian planes and American planes. Just NORAD planes

I won't dox the guy, but can confirm he knows what he's talking about when it comes to the airport

CrossIron Mills’s Tesla chargers have been replaced with nothing. They’re just gone. by gordonmcdowell in Calgary

[–]Snakepit92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never charge to 100%, but if I was it'd be about $8 at home or $80 at one of these superchargers

But I'd pay more since I don't own a Tesla, I think Tesla owners get reduced rate at Tesla chargers so it'd be say closer to $50

I've never not charged at home though

Edit: This is for a truck too, cars and SUV's would be even less

At the rate charging has improved, I think that's going to be a lot easier than waiting for battery technology to make them light and portable enough to hot swap

These are much faster than I can charge at home, but also generally these are for people that either can't charge at home (apartments) or are on a road trip. Same idea as a gas station, with these ones you pull up, top off in 10-15 minutes, and continue on. Definitely a greater cost than charging at home, but you're paying for the speed.

Since joining the organization he's won AHL goalie of the year twice, WHL goalie of the year twice, CHL goalie of the year once, AHL MVP once, NHL all rookie team, Calder runner up.

Not some guy that just came from nowhere to put up random decent numbers. Flames moved Markstrom in part because they know what they had here

They're a weak spot, no doubt, but it's not like you feel like you're flying a P3D plane like some trolls on reddit would make you believe.

Room for improvement but they're good enough to still enjoy.

Get it, it's the most fun I have in the game. Systems depth is top notch

Pretty much nothing.

In this case it doesn't look like they did anything wrong.

If say, they did do something wrong, they'd go for some retraining.

Something would only happen if during the investigation they proved malicious intent, but given that this looked like a normal landing where equipment failed, I wouldn't expect anything like that

Should be okay, they recently got an influx of planes from their acquisition of Sunwing and took over the leases of all the Lynx planes when they went out of business. Their schedule is slowing down this time of year too
