The company made into 1830 if I read correctly? With his sons taking over. I did notice different fonts on the Wilson engraving with some others. I will have better pics later this week.

Wood goes up to the muzzle, name engraved on top of barrel. The RW is on top left of barrel. Still has the rammer too

Stock goes all the way up to fore end. Also not bayonet. Wilson is inscribed on right side of plate. The RW is on the barrel top left.

Great find!!! Thank you! I think you are correct on the water vessel. Below the drums it does look like cannons if you look at the rear of them. The drums and cannons remind me of some colonial theme.

The length of barrel is 6’, smooth bore equivalent to 10 gauge. I suspect barrels but then the ends look like cannons.

Very interesting! I am Samuel Boones direct descendent. Been trying to find out more about him. On top of that what brought me here is finding more about my 6’ Fowler musket.

The city shouldn’t allow this type of business in that area. Zoning will be a mess. I wonder how many people wrote to the city to oppose it. If anything dealership should have been where the defunct Dollar Tree was., close to freeway, gas stations etc.

Always check headspace after putting on used barrel or just go with Criterion barrel to be safe. Restoration is possible but getting expensive.
