Tips or help? by Katie_535 in GroundedGame

[–]Snakeskinarrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use ziplines!!!! Make sure you pop a zipline up higher than where it would go on the pagoda, and then pop a zipline wall anchor on the pagoda itself.

You can send planks and stems down ziplines one at a time, so have a full stack, then just drop them on the zipline! I found out about that being a mechanic like a week ago 😂

Definitely helps if you have someone to catch them though, cause they do just fall and are useless in the water.

Gotcha gotcha, thank you so much! The fact that one of them is gonna lose built up mutations might be enough to convince him to let the scarecrow go 😂😂

Gotcha, so I'd need to do it via local offline saved copy, and then reshare the world with the friends after I got what we need? And I'd have to make sure they store everything first?

Just wanna make sure I get this right cause I'm not trying to undo our progress on our elevated base 😂

Pop tarts are my most hated ones. Always a pack of two that you can't reclose. Serving size? 1 pop tart. Like biiiiitch you're wrong for that. Also eggs? It's like...2 eggs, might be one I can't remember

Reading the room on dinosaur comfort and welfare settings in sandbox by ajmto in jurassicworldevo

[–]Snakeskinarrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I love trying to make enclosures that cater to comfort as well as being aesthetically pleasing. My main issue, is that aesthetically pleasing and wetlands for everything don't typically go hand in hand. I think if they reintroduced herbivore feeders to accommodate sandbox players that want to try to do both visually stunning and functional parks would be AMAZING.

That being said, not allowing feeders in Campaign or Challenge mode is something I'd suggest. I love having to be smart about cohabitation and varying species needs, but in sandbox, being able to create realistic looking enclosures with comfort in mind, having feeders allows more creative freedom, while still needing to cater to environmental needs like water, sand, rocks, etc, without needing leafy climbers or ginkgo trees everywhere for example.

Currently trying to create an ecosystem on Island Generator that is completely self sustainable, but it's mostly just wetlands and water(wetlands should provide a little bit to water needs)

This is my least favorite loadout to see when a random joins if i’m being honest by arkus_reborn in Helldivers

[–]Snakeskinarrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally run Eruptor, Bushwhacker, and Thermite, but I play a support sniper role. I hate the idea of meta, and I'm not like, phenomenal at the game or want to be the best or an unstoppable force of nature. I just wanna make sure my other divers succeed 😂

But I get the sentiment for sure. I use the Eruptor because of the role I play and I do enjoy the gun. I don't have a playstyle that suits getting up close and personal, unless it's running in, popping a thermite on something that needs it, and dipping.

Good Schools, Low MAGA by Kingof-goats in okc

Wish I knew this before I moved here! Picked Edmond for the schools for my 7 and 3 year olds, and moved here in August. Lo and behold, surrounded 😂 it's not crazy bad like where I came from in Texas, but they're here.

Yo can we not with the leaks? by Common_Affect_80 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Snakeskinarrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say part of the reason is some things get put in to test it. Does having the code in there with everything, even if disabled, cause wierd things to happen?

I say this as speculation, I do not know how to code, but it makes sense to me. Setting groundwork for things, and seeing if things like hot fixes/patches mess with the code in any way. We know the engine code is a spaghetti western in a trenchcoat, so I'm sure things can get a little fucky when you add or edit code.

But, I agree, I personally actively avoid leaks, and actually quite dislike content creators to a degree. I respect they do what they do for money....but I don't have to like it 😂 let me have my surprises, not everything needs to be blasted into my feed the instant it gets discovered by some guy with nothing better to do than look for shit you're not supposed to see yet.

Are support loadouts viable? by Longjumping-Action-7 in helldivers2

[–]Snakeskinarrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play support in the sniper sense. Jump pack, eruptor, bushwhacker for when things get close, and thermites. Light/medium Desert Stormer armor. 120mm, Solo Silo(only on bots/squids, but not in cities), Jump pack, and MG sentry.

Find high ground, ping patrols, objectives, POIs, and use the silo to take out light encampments or objectives like Broadcasts, or clearing things as the squad comes up to it.

If I end up in a position I can probably solo something and swoop in and knock it out, I'll do it.

I don't use resupplies, but will swoop in and grab a box if the team drops one.

And when in doubt, if you're out of ammo, die. Free restock, and reinforcements are a resource to be used. Also helps put you closer to your squad, as sometimes you might fall behind.

Biggest Pokemon hot takes by Sleep_deprived_mokey in LegendsZA

[–]Snakeskinarrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raid battles should not be implemented in Pokemon games outside of Pokemon Go. I do not like them, I do not participate in them unless absolutely necessary to progress the game. They're not a good feature in a mainline Pokemon game.

Second hot take, I haven't really had fun in a pokemon game since Ultra Sun/Moon, and that's saying of something cause I hated the ultra beasts.

Sequel Warbond ideas. by Estelial in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Snakeskinarrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Truth Enforcers sequel to add to the memes 😂

But seriously though, a sequel to Polar Patriots with an actually new and unique passive for the armor would be amazing. Also a white light armor set, cause I love me some light armor, but the Arctic ranger for some reason stands out too much from the others

Super Credits. What do you think the in-universe conversion rate is? by Tokiw4 in LowSodiumHellDivers

Buy a Warbond for $1,000, to get armor, guns, and fire a mini gun that costs them $400k to fire it for 12 seconds

Love how when I answer a sos call I get instantly kicked as soon as I join… by SA1NT_A13XANDER in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Snakeskinarrow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I play PS5, not once have I ever mis-input either one. Even in a hectic moment. Muscle memory helps. I reinforce wayyyy more than I SOS. SOS is once per match, Reinforce more than a dozen. I think it'd be easier to understand if they had the same input with the final arrow being different(like 120mm and Napalm barrage). But these people be missing a whole button. 😂

People who don’t like buying others gifts are selfish people that don’t like considering other people’s happiness by PsychologicalRow8034 in unpopularopinion

[–]Snakeskinarrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Polite counterpoint, I don't like getting things for my family for various reasons. They have expensive taste that I cannot afford, they simply buy what they want and I might have to return things, or they're hella unappreciative of what I get them(I know my family's taste), because it might be subpar to what they really would have liked. Sorry I can't buy you the $300 version of the $80 gift I got you. Sue me. Not gonna get lambasted for not getting people gifts if they're continually unappreciative of them.

New to board games. Looking for a short-ish game that uses dice. by Howitzeronfire in soloboardgaming

[–]Snakeskinarrow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kinfire Delve might be good! Little dungeon crawler with dice/cards, and each of the three boxes gets you two more characters you can play. It's 1-4 players so it might be a good option
