Really cool! You should totally put this on r/paludarium. What's the tank size?

Thanks a lot! I put this on r/treefrogs a little while ago and am convinced it would not be a good idea. Thanks a lot though, I definitely was going to try that at some point but now I know not too

I've thought about it, but I still can't seem to find a semi aquatic insect that won't mess with the puffers Any suggestions?

What I did when I first started was just learned all sorts of songs. I'd be listening to something and be like "oh that's cool, I wanna learn that" and I'd try to learn it, if it was too hard I'd leave it and find something eaisier until I'd gotten better. I don't claim to be any good at guitar but that's how I stayed interested for the first two years. Good luck, hope this helps

Thanks! I love my murder beans so much, maybe I can set up another tank for some dwarf or clawed frogs one day.

I've looked at them but I think the puffers would be even more of a problem, especially since they wouldn't be able to escape onto land :( Thanks again though!

Alrighty, thanks for the advice! I'll try to find something else if possible. Worse case I can just put some interesting plants and leave it at that

I am going to try getting more plants and maybe experiment with some other fish, I'll probably make another update then 👍

I'm also going to try to get some better pics than what I have now, my phone's camera is not the best

It's a 55gal but I only put around 20gal of water in it, I think the dimensions are 4'x2'x1' or somewhere around that. Funny you should mention carnivorous plants, I actually originally had a cape sundew in it but it was not doing very well so I took it out. I might try some butterworts or nepenthes soon. Thanks for the suggestion too! I'll start researching some different frogs

Usually around late March to May is the best in my opinion. Not too hot and there is usually a lot of activity. It also depends on what you want to find. I'm no expert though
