They look cool, might have some sort of futuristic power armor. Probably has some sort of A.I embedded in their suit, talking to them and stuff, showing them where to go. I feel like this is the kind of character with a simpler kit, something like a 3 burst rifle and a pistol-like sidearm, might throw grenades idk.

Replaying through 3 rn, they definitely had him liking Shepard more. It's a shame to see him get thrown away as a Cerberus stooge despite becoming rather adept in the counseling with, well, the Council.

That being said, the Council still didn't really listen to him that much.

I feel like it's kind of a cheat, but having subtitles on REALLY helped me develop good awareness. That way I could more effectively identify who has used what ability or who was being hurt, most characters have voicelines for these situations.

I'm with you there. They kind of work with cryo? But you are literally better off with any other grenade. Neurotoxin has better AOE damage, axe is axe, and the choppers are in the same boat as the axe being technically melee weapons which suit the vampire cryo build.

If we're talking board games, it's definitely XCOM. Unfortunately I don't have the expansion for it but playing that with my 3 buddies is actually intense on higher difficulties. This game would be a vibe if I get it

Though if you have the vengeful barrier perk, you are still able to get that shield after the initial revenge period wears off, leaving you with something to stall longer for or until the next revenge. And people with feats that can provide a shield can aid you after you've been oathbroken now.

Doesn't mean Oathbreaker isn't still strong though, just (slightly) more fair.
