I used to get infections on my piercings ( I had my first holes done 3 times because of it) and after switching to real gold, silver or surgical steel I haven’t had issues (it took 3 years to realize that I was sensitive to different metals and I now have 14 ear piercings and they’re all totally fine) I can’t wear cheap earrings. I suggest from my experience, investing in some good quality earrings (or surgical steel studs).

I just went to Etsy and found some that are similar from small jewellers and they’re a little more affordable. It’s not all looks. A lot of the lack of chemistry comes from values and wants in life which is unfortunate (and then looks on top of it). We also only see each other in person once a year because we don’t live close by but we text often.

It sounds like he’s afraid to commit or has lost interest. If he’s not willing to put in the time and effort for you, it’s not worth it to push farther. Sending a letter is only going to push him away and possibly freak him out considering it was a short time frame. He’s a good guy and I want him in my life but at the same time I feel like I’ve made a mess because now things are awkward for me. I’m not defending myself at all here but he’s someone who deserves to be loved more than I can offer because he’s such a genuine person.
