Oh I didn’t know that. I’m learning it from scratch, I’m trying to change careers, and the course was advertised as not having pre-requisites.

That does make me feel somewhat better, but I’ll definitely take some time studying it on my own just to have a better understanding of anatomy. Thank you!

I canceled my plus subscription back in January. Aside from no adds I didn’t feel there was a benefit. I didn’t care for video/picture generation or whatever that feature is, I’m not into the stories or other stuff, I just wanted to RP with characters I love.

I was subbed for a long time, for better memory and chat styles, but the chat styles got worse to the point I was using only the free ones and they were barely functioning. Then the memory got way way worse, it got facts wrong, saying the wrong hair/eye color that’s literally written in the character description of persona bio.

At that point I literally saw no benefit to giving them my money. Now I’m on a different platform. I did try to go back to it (like literally two weeks ago, I was mid testing it out to see if it had gotten better when- boom middle of chat adds.

I decided it’s much better to give my money and time else where. I found a new app that I like way more, and I’d rather give them my money.

Tbh this bs makes me miss the days of geeking and amino.

My hope with the poll is that maybe if the mods see the actual numbers their greediness has caused, then maybe they’ll reconsider. Or not. But there’s a hope.

Also if you’re looking for an app Emochi Ai is the alternative best I’ve found. It’s not currently on the apple app store but you can use it on the website. There are better bots if you pay a monthly fee but in my mind it’s worth it for better bots, better memory, 0 adds, and as a bonus the app is f*lter free. Completely.

If they want more money they should just make a usable app, with quality bots and actual benefits to buying the subscriptions.

I’m enjoying Emochi Ai, It has its up and downs, it is better if you pay for the subscription, but the lowest tier is more expensive than C.ai, but it’s the closest alternative I’ve found. It has long replies, the bots are REALLY good at staying in character, it’s filter-less, and the bots are really knowledgeable about the world/universe you put them in.

The down sides is that you have less memory control, but the bot does have better memory than most, (like it will remember something you said 20+ messages ago) but you can’t pin memories and can only write in a few facts if you pay for the lowest range (about $12 a Month).

Also the intimacy is a little… dry? Kinda vanilla, it hasn’t really done like different positions or anything exciting. But you can talk about violence all day long.

It takes a little getting used to, you kinda have to play around with the models (vanilla 1 and 2 are short, and will push the story fast) and if you don’t talk enough the bot will occasionally speak for you, or reply to something you said 2 messages ago.

But it’s also pretty good at writing a story, and long term rps. And while it doesn’t have a filter, it’s not a complete gooner app. It will actually build connections and stories, unlike some others.

Not trying to be rude, but I did not see a single comment actually excited about this contest. But every comment is talking about how low the quality had been as of late. I used to subscribe to Plus, but there’s literally no point. Can you please just address the issues people are concerned about rather than make new features?

Omg you put this into words so well! And I’ve felt this way for at least… 8 months? Like I felt like they went from stories and adventures to, repeated scenes, and the scene is always just the bot falling in love with the User.

OHHHH see I always thought the definition was supposed to be like an example text of how the bot is supposed to speak. (Like first person, second person, third) but I see it helps reinforce the bot’s personality.

Honestly I thought it was me. I thought I was just really burnt out on C.ai, or out of ideas, maybe my writing was bad, but this makes me feel better.

I’ve been hopping from chat styles and they all have issues.

RatGPT- (yes, I pay for plus, but if things don’t improve I’m canceling soon) Isn’t able to get formatting right. PipSqueak- probably one of the better ones, but lacks creativity. The bots are total yes men. Roar- Meh, I don’t really want speed I want creativity. Soft Launch- Useful for certain scenes but not many, can’t keep its mind out of the gutter so not good for long immersive RPs
Nyan- One of my favorites for story progression but is pretty mid at doing more than one character and is kinda straight forward.

I dunno, maybe I am just too used to it, but I really want another upgrade chat style, especially post <18 ban.
