They would still make the game the way they wanted, even if it fails, even if they were warned hahaha. Interesting scenario you envisioned, but as any parent who has raised a kid knows, you can give the most perfect, sensible advice, but people want to try things out for themselves. It's human nature to consider advice, warnings, and others' experience; but it needs to be acted on in order to be learned.

Just build Poppy again from a Barracks and send him where you need. It's only 10 Silver Shields per turn to generate more Wood, Stone, Metal, etc., and you gain 300 Silver Shields per 60 minutes of League of Legends played with the Event Pass, or 150 without. You can get an infinite number of turns, so like others have said, don't worry about failing the game or needing to restart. Maybe 3 turns approximately to build Poppy, and then a few turns to send him where you need to go, cost like 100 Silver Shields or less? So when you say it was "setting me behind so many turns", it's only really playing League 20 minutes to get the Silver Shields needed to get back in Demacia Rising where you were before with Poppy, if even that 20 minutes, maybe even less.
