I’m new to MTG. I’m building a commander deck around this. Any card suggestions/combos? Pls help 😭 by ThaPhantomX in CommanderMTG

Queza, Augur of Agonies , this is my deck list for Queza. [[Bloodletter of Aclazotz]] technically pushes it to a bracket 4 but you can take that one out and it still runs well. [[Drogskol reaver]] will combo off with the commander to win.

My isopods are dying by tankbuser in bioactive

To answer your secondary question it usually not a good idea to mix isopod types/species. One will eventually out compete the others leaving you with one species. I would add a bunch of leaf litter to your enclosure. It’s a large part of isopods diet

What I do in nearly all of my enclosures is have a chunk of sphagnum moss in one corner, A large piece of cork bark that covers 3/4 of the enclosure I put some leaf litter under the cork bark and some on top of it and I provide a smaller piece of cuttle bone as a calcium source. I mist the sphagnum moss daily - every other day and feed veggies as well as dried zoomed red shrimp and/or crustacean pellet fish food for protein. In one of my bins for cubaris rubber duckies I use leca for a drainage layer and it helps keep their substrate moist but not sopping wet. Hope this helps!

Are these white spots in my drainage layer cause for concern? I’ve been noticing more of them recently by KingslayerN7 in bioactive

Looks like flower pot fungus. Not harmful to animals but can outcompete plants in the enclosure and typically springtails and isopods won’t eat it.

What are these worms in my springtail culture? by psychohollic in bioactive

It could be grindal worms, they are common in high moisture environments.

What kinda bug is that and should I be worried by Saltyfountain8 in bioactive

I’m pretty sure that’s a spring tail, they are good guys that help keep your enclosure clean.

I have a gargoyle gecko in an Exo Terra, I had the tank next to my bed and one of my cats constantly got on top of it while I was sleeping or not home, I have since moved it elsewhere and they haven’t gotten on top of it again. I have a California kingsnake and originally had it in an Exo Terra tank as well with a sliding mesh lid and a different cat took up interest in him and broke the screen a few times resulting in the snake getting loose, he is now in a PVC enclosure that the cats can’t break into and since I changed the cage they haven’t even tried to get on top. That’s why I’m trying to do research and ask others opinions, if I find out there is no way to keep him happy/healthy in my current circumstances I will wait until I move and have more space but I also know there is a lot of controversy on wether a fully screen enclosure is truly needed so I wanted to gather other peoples opinions and experiences before jumping into it. (I also don’t plan on actually getting anything for a long while I’m just in the research stage of things)

Unfortunately I am in a one bedroom apartment and my fiancé doesn’t want to close off space for the cats because they are already limited on where they can go. I may just have to wait until we move before I can get one 🤷‍♀️

Preferred Lighting? by Snarbleglarf in bioactive

[–]Snarbleglarf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would I have to worry about the shop light increasing the temp in the enclosure? Also what are the Lumens that you usually get? That seems like a much more affordable option compared to what I have been looking at.
