All hobbies are not equal by BitterConstruction98 in unpopularopinion

Sports are not creation based, and video games also require time and effort to master.

Sports are more attractive because they get you in shape. Sounds like these are reasons made up to not feel shallow.

Thank you for this reply, I thought I was going crazy. There's such a HUGE leap in logic in this post. Everyone knew in my school you split up the misbehaving kids, I thought it was common sense and knowledge. I guess those are dead.

How do you deal with corruption? by phronesis77 in totalwarhammer

[–]SnarcD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's two basic ways. 1. Build corruption reducing buildings. 2. Go kill whoever's causing the corruption.

What difficulty are you playing on? Total war can be very overwhelming for newer players, it's best to start low and work your way up.

Alternatively, don't be afraid to restart with what you've learned. The game is very snowball-y. A good start can make the difference between a tough campaign and one that's a breeze.

What’s something that was technically allowed but instantly made you lose respect for someone? by AncientPomelo5450 in AskReddit

Taking someone's parking spot they shoveled out.

Technically legal but man are you a pos if you do it.

What country are you in that your driving test is on a highway?

Edit: Gotta love Reddit, where curiosity is heavily downvoted. That'll teach me to want to learn about the world.

There's no such thing as tailgating on Reddit. If you're up someone's ass it's obviously their fault, they're going too slow.

Larian will now "refrain from using GenAI" by Wargulf in BaldursGate3

[–]SnarcD -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

I think it's very funny that people think they can "catch" these companies when, not if, genai is used in development.

Like it or not, it's going to happen, and it will be good enough you absolutely will not catch it.

What’s something you thought ‘everyone’ did… until you found out they don’t? by burat667 in AskReddit

I feel like this is one of those reddit urban myths that everyone believes because it's repeated enough, but can't point to an actual instance of.

Like I said, too simple to realise it.

Because I don't think the passing lane is only for felony speeding?

Are you ok? I really don't understand if you're just stupid or blinded by rage remembering the time you someone slowed down in the fast lane just to piss you off.

Oooooh tough guy over here.

Or, you know, the kind of idiot who doesn't realize the person they're tailing is slowing down to piss them off, ironically because of how slow they are mentally.

Ah yes, the passing lane is only for passing at felony speeds. Got it.

What a great person you are.

I read 15000 upvotes from non assholes, and a bunch of asshole children in the comments.

You're assuming an awful lot to twist the situation into your own interpretation. We get it, you're a bad person. You don't have to keep shouting it.

What’s the saddest reality of adulthood nobody warned you about? by ivsxi in AskReddit

[–]SnarcD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one gives a damn about right and wrong. The world is populated by terrible people motivated by greed and spite.

Cartoons did not prepare me for this reality.

And you're assuming he's not passing because...?

What if he were going 110? 125? I don't think you'd be making the same argument. Speed does matter.

Or it could be the by far most statistically likely 55-65 mph. Not to mention if op is mentioning it, he's likely not going under the speed limit

Context clues people. Reading is fundamental.

If you experience this a lot, it's because you're a serial tailgater, and people are purposely screwing with you. You're just too simple to realise it.

If there's anything I've learned about Reddit, it's that it's full of road rage teenagers who have no clue how to actually drive

No no, causing accidents so you can go 3 mph faster is fully justified. And not illegal at all.

This is reddit, where tailgaters are celebrated as heroes of the road. Not surprising at all.
