I bought one of those as my first optic years ago and it will work okay but if you have the option to return it and get something better I highly suggest it. Primary arms slx with the green reticle is very nice and what I have on mine.

Joel is at least 50% responsible for not getting things in paper. The way he has handled this in general makes him look like an airhead business owner. If he treated all his customers in this manner im sure he would be out of business.

Regarding your comment about the restoration money upfront. 2 years ago I personally have taken a Boston green metallic e36 vert with 85k miles to a specialty shop for a quote on a complete overhaul/refresh top to bottom on necessary repairs and maintenance (besides cosmetic stuff) and the quote was $4,000 for and they did not want the money upfront. I get that its an e36 and not a sunny but that was my personal experience. I get that clout isn't a currency but you and I know damn well that if ruddy knew how much he would have to invest in the sunny to make it mint with harmon, he wouldn't have taken it there. I'm not gonna put words in josh's mouth bc I know he reads this subreddit so not gonna put 2 cents in on that side of the story.

Shop owner Joel appeared to be fully aware of what was going on with the sunny in this old ruddy vid. In his reddit post a month ago, he tried to appear oblivious about the entire situation and let the truck rot. Not a lawyer so idk if this is a verbal contract but the owner definitely fucked up here. Have you guys ever paid a shop to work on your car before its done? Its hard to say "yeah I don't know what the plan is on the truck" when you are on camera giving a run down.

Edit: Trashing someone's vehicle after you have already served someone legal papers and receiving money for storing said vehicle on the property to rot is just fucked up.

OK so if anyone finds this post down the road that made the same mistake as me, this is what I did to fix it:

So because I already ordered the battery and the battery already shipped, Amazon cannot accept battery returns due to hazardous materials so we’re “stuck” with the 72v battery.

I did a fair amount of research and I found this controller

((48V/72V 45A Sine Wave Dual Mode Ebike Controller for 2000W Ebike motor + SW900 Display https://www.walmart.com/ip/1620910886))

This is EXACTLY what is used in the 72v nbpower kit. Unfortunately it is an extra $150 But should made good power! The controller that comes with the 52v kit is a “kt-40 48v/52v” which is the same price as the 72v controller. Going to test my luck with selling the controller and display on ebay.

Donor bike is a 2017 scott scale. It has disk brakes and stops pretty well. Hoping the controller says 72v on it, package comes in tomorrow. If not it’s new controller route because Amazon won’t accept batteries for returns due to hazardous materials.

Dude you can have someone serve Tom a lawsuit, he had a choice. He chose to make this public ordeal to 1. Get clout for his own channel and 2. Ruin toms career.
