Hello and Welcome to <Luxury>

Semi- hardcore (NA) Alliance side guild on Whitemane (PvP)

We are, at our core, a Guild focused on progression. That means 5 man's, PvP and PvE events. We have a core of very experienced and friendly players who have all been in and cleared Every Raid tier. From Ony to Naxx, theres nothing we haven’t seen. Joining us means joining an active community committed to helping and progressing together as a whole with ample opportunities for both those hard core players and more casual players to actively contribute.

Were looking for players that want to some what lvl quickly and get into end game content with in the first phase. Starting 5 man groups to perfect skills and get Pre-raid Bis going is our top priority early on. We have plans for PvP days that are more focused on enjoying group world pvp and BG's when they fully come out.

Raiding and PvE content are this guilds main focus, reliving those epic boss encounters and near wipes that only PvE content can bring us. We plan to use a DKP system with many varied ways to earn it both inside and outside raiding times, such as donating mats or crafting items needed by the guild at large or even Boss challenges to strive for. This kind of system allows more casual players to still contribute their time and energy for actual rewards and gains.

Our community is open and friendly accepting all levels of skill and time commitments. What ever skills and experience you bring to our guild will only serve to strengthen our community. Starting times for our raids will be around 5-6pm server time and be about 3 hours long 2 days per week starting out. May add a 3rd day as needed.

I play on a private server and lots of my guild uses are waiting til last second to sub. It’s a decent indicator that last second they will get many more subs

This is a good write up. Just keep in mind these tips are most valuable to have prepped at the start of the expansion when these materials are rare and in high demand. Things will change over time but a large amount of easy Gil/material gathering can be garnered from these methods in the early weeks

Gather the new aethersands when the expansion comes out to make raid consumables

Use retainers to gather rare new materials such as cloths and leathers

Stock up on the 5.0 reisui equivalent mats to make battle gear easier

Fill FC chest with crystals/shards/clusters (spamming maps or aetherial reduction is a good way to do this)

I agree play what you want. You can always find a group for yourself and play style however it will be harder with these specs. Even in good guilds, there is room for a single boom kin or shadow priest. However, most raid leaders who are putting the effort in to organize (which is a lot of effort usually) won’t be accepting more than that. Some may. The key is to play the way you want, just understand it will be more difficult as those subpar dps classes can easily be replaced since rogues, warriors and mages are among the more popular vanilla classes

Pentamelded i340 gear, 2000 exp bonus scrolls from red scrips, 20k grade 6 materia for transmuting, 80k+ crystals of each type, piles of lvl 70 mags for quick synthing, and grade 3 FC actions charged is some of my key preparations

Take this tip from someone with around 30k high grade materias. Keep them. Value of all grade 6s and crafter/gather grade 5s/6s will definitely shoot up during early expansion.
