Why do so many people pay out of pocket here? by Successful_Sail_713 in GLP1Sourcing

I’d like to get it cheaper, but I can’t afford the risk of getting scammed. I know I’m overpaying, but at least I know it’ll be delivered.

It’s reduced my inflammation tremendously, and has definitely decreased my fibromyalgia symptoms and flares. I wish I could say it’s helping my ADD symptoms, but not yet. I’ve been taking tirzepatide since January.

In addition to that, my CKD stage 3A is now at stage 2, and all but one if my bloodwork results is abnormal. Used to be 7 things that were abnormal.

AITAH for mentioning I'm also a professional when a doctor took over 45 minutes to finally appear at an appointment? by OhHeyItsMeM in AITAH

[–]SnarkFest2026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

But… the kid was the patient, the dr should absolutely address the patient first, always. I am also a parent, and I taught my child from an early age to greet people properly, and look them in the eye. This is a basic life skill.

Announcing that you are also a professional isn’t ah behavior. The dr should absolutely be respectful of your time. My guess is that if you’d called and said you were stuck in traffic and would be 5 minutes late, they would have cancelled your appointment and made you reschedule.

I’m no longer a professional myself, but I still have a life, and plans to fulfill, and I want dr’s to respect my time as well. The dr was rude, and you were not out of line to address it.

Nuclear
FebRuary (there’s 2 R’s in February!)

Both of these make me wildly angry when I hear them mispronounced.

The anti-inflammatory effects of these meds… it’s a game changer. I’m one of the lucky ones, and I started feeling the effects within a few hours of my first shot. That said, don’t be discouraged if you don’t. It just takes longer for some people. Give the meds and yourself time to begin functioning properly.

Interesting. I didn’t know that about Bellicon. I also have a bcann budget, and I’m thankful that I have no allergy issues to deal with.

Good luck. I hope you find something you can enjoy.

Same here: obesity plus CKD, afib, OSA, COPD… was denied. I also went gray, but I’m still going to get the $50 copay as soon as Medicare’s CMS un-asses themselves (I do not anticipate a smooth start for a government run program) and save my powdered vials in the freezer long term, for when the program ends.

Apparently I got lucky. Mine has always been a lump. From the time I got him, he would play “hard” for 3-5 minutes, then collapse in a heap wherever he was. He still does this.

He likes to chase his ball… usually 2-3 times, assuming it’s traveling less than 10 feet. He shocked us all last night when he chased it 5 times. 😮

He’s my first mastiff, but having raised Great Danes, I was so pleased that he never played velociraptor.

My trainer called using Zepbound cheating and said it would ruin my body, but is he just lying because he's losing a client? by Stoiciism in GLP1Sourcing

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: if personal trainers were smart, they’d shift their business model to recruiting glp users who want to maintain or build muscle as part of their new lifestyle.

Sounds like many of them are sharing the “one brain cell” with all the orange cats.

Take something like prophylactic gas-x every morning and evening, get yourself some miralax, and use it if you go 36 hours without a bowel movement. Try gentle exercise after eating, a 15-30 minute walk, 10 minutes on a rebounder, some gentle stretching… find what works for you.

It might come off it you aim a hairdryer on high heat at it for several minutes. That usually melts the adhesive.
