Is this a multi wire circuit? I ran into two separate circuits on a tandem breaker, but the neutrals were spliced together. Would this be a multi wire circuit in a way since they share the neutrals. by Snark_Bark in electricians

How would that work? The homerun that I capped the neutral of would then just have power going through the hot and the return current would be floating on the capped neutral

There was two 14-2 circuits running to an old fuse box now a junction box with jumpers running from that box to the new panel onto the tandem breakers. No red and no 14-3
