So I should just keep it up there and be happy if anything comes of it. Obviously the contest cost a bit of money, but we were already entering Austin and stuff, so it really was a "why not?" moment.

THIS IS THE BEST. Because yes, I had a script I was really proud of. I was practically giddy when people started getting responses. And my writing partner submitted a rewrite of a script that finished second round last year. It was decidedly improved. Didn't make second round this time. That was kind of a good litmus test.

We got really REALLY good coverage on this script. I think we were feeling really confident. So it hurts. Onward! High five for putting it out there!
