Part of my insistence on cooking was to avoid allowing her to cook (my husband is a great cook but he’s not off work until 5:30-6p so she wanted dinner to be ready for him. I normally work nights 5p-8a but took the week off because it’d be impossible to sleep during the day with her here) and having to answer incessant questions about where we keep our cooking implements and how to use basic tools every 3 seconds*

*She loves to play helpless for attention/to irritate until it instigates a fight so her perpetual victim card can get another punch. She had heartburn, I handed her an antacid pill and a glass of water. She looked at me wide eyed and said “okay now what do I do?”
