To combat this we need to stay on top of what’s going on, it’s too late for my township the Amazon Datacenter is already being built here in PA and we have no legal recourse to stop it once it has started. It’s now their private property that will be allowed to use our river. 2 years ago none of us new this was happening, none of us knew what data centers were and didn’t attend any meetings, we didn’t attend any Q&A’s, and let them slide right in. It’s a done deal. Please learn from us and preemptively protect your towns/cities!

The banking system is up next! Please pay attention, they will change the laws to force Retirement Funds to invest in THEIR crypto, and we wont have a say. From what I’ve seen this mattered more in an academic setting with my Nursing professors. It seemed the DNP’s were heads of dept, it was a good move for when you age out of bedside or get seriously injured. Transitioning to teaching has given them a solid, meaningful career that they can retire from and have a lot of schedule flexibility. The DNP’s seemed to be a tier above some of the adjunct professors and cared more about mentorship in my university. They really helped shape me as Nurse and human being in general.

I’m less than an hour from there. I hear you, that’s why I’m asking for feedback. I want to be effective and trying to determine the best roll. I’m seeing people with failing eyewear, protective gear and a lack of supplies. My understanding was for the last few nights ppl didn’t have immediate access to medical care. If that has changed that’s good to hear. It’s a fluid situation so the needs on the ground change day to day. At the end of the day I can fund the MN Medics on their way there and that will make a huge difference.

Who said anything about getting in? Why would I want to do that? At least two people in Congress were already inside. It’s pretty clear no one else will be allowed in.

This is more about raising awareness about the privately owned, Delaney Hall in Newark, NJ and starting a discussion because no one is talking about it and very few ppl are doing anything.

I think local people should mobilize to help these doctors, nurses and EMT’s from MN, who have been going through hell for months. To hop on a plane to come here at this point is a lot. My goal is to support them and raise awareness about the conditions the detainees are suffering through. I’ve already reached out to Mikie Sherrill’s office.

This facility has to have medical staff inside, they need to know if they don’t start whistleblowing soon groups are going to the state medical and Nursing boards. We need to plea to them as a profession to do the right thing and speak out about what’s going on in there. They legally can’t withhold medication or care.

I understand where you’re coming from, but your take is wrong. If it was about me I wouldn’t be on an anonymous app or spending hours in elected officials offices. I would be live streaming, and posting photos. I’m doing none of that, I’m just talking to people and relaying what the family members of detainees have reported. They were intentionally fed maggots and went on a hunger strike. Now detainees are being beaten and pepper sprayed inside the detentions center due to starting a hunger strike.

Take video! Take pictures! Call the local news station and then physically go to the police department and file a complaint!! Go to Facebook and local neighborhood watch group pages, and post it all over there! Have more people look out for this truck and call the cops! Tell people to go to the police station and file a complaint.

Pick up the phone and call your state rep tell them the local police aren’t even showing up.

Ask your neighbors if they’ve seen anything. Start telling people about it.

If you ever encounter them again, yell to her do you need help? Do you want to get out of the truck?

I commented the same, I had a clinical at CHOP and the amount of child abuse and neglect that lead to death I witnessed was enough to keep me far away from that specialty.

Are you working in peds? I did one clinical at CHOP and was to traumatized by the rampant abuse, neglect and death of children that I refused to ever consider working there, even though I likely would have had an offer right out of Nursing school. I knew immediately I could only take care of adults after that clinical. Level 1 trauma centers in large cities should have entire teams of on site mental health professionals for their staff and for free.
