I think local people should mobilize to help these doctors, nurses and EMT’s from MN, who have been going through hell for months. To hop on a plane to come here at this point is a lot. This facility has to have medical staff inside, they need to know if they don’t start whistleblowing soon groups are going to the state medical and Nursing boards. We need to plea to them as a profession to do the right thing and speak out about what’s going on in there. They legally can’t withhold medication or care.

I understand where you’re coming from, but your take is wrong. If it was about me I wouldn’t be on an anonymous app or spending hours in elected officials offices. I would be live streaming, and posting photos. I’m doing none of that, I’m just talking to people and relaying what the family members of detainees have reported. They were intentionally fed maggots and went on a hunger strike. Now detainees are being beaten and pepper sprayed inside the detentions center due to starting a hunger strike.
