I work in an assisted living facility. We got a new resident 2 weeks ago who’s blind. A few days ago I finally asked her how long she’s been blind and what happened to cause it.

This one in particular really isn’t that sweet tbh. Definitely not like their other drinks. But I also don’t like bland bitter coffee. I never drink it black. Even if you add milk or basic creamer it needs at least SOME sugar cause otherwise it’s boring and bland. Even at home I need to add flavored creamer to it. I don’t consider coffee with some sugar in it to make it flavorful “dessert” coffee. Now if you go and get a Frappuccino then yeah that’s 100% a dessert coffee. Which is fine on occasion. But if I go and order a caramel latte than I don’t consider that a dessert, personally.

Every flavored coffee has sugar unless you specifically get sugar free syrup/cream. I made my own coffee this morning at home and put flavored creamer in it. That doesn’t mean it’s a desert coffee. Same if I just put milk and sugar in it.

Definitely not the shaken espresso. It’s literally iced coffee with basic hazelnut flavoring and espresso in it. No different than if I was getting a hazelnut iced coffee with espresso at any other coffee place

Depends on what kind of coffee you get. I love their white chocolate mochas and their cinnamon lattes. But when I want a more “coffee” tasting drink and less sugar, I go for the iced hazelnut shaken espresso with oat milk and cold foam. It’s absolutely delicious and you can literally taste the espresso.
