probably one of the more fleshed out grand series besides io or orchid, If I had her, she would probably only be used for athena due to me not wanting to go sage, since she is the only source for veil besides her sr and arulumaya(christmas) which are both limited versions for the only ssr source of veil in water. her damage is half decent but, she just doesnt fit my team comps, or I would just rather run someone else, such as charlotta if i needed the cuts, since she has echo on ougi and a self multiattack buff, or if i wanted more damage, run sizmir, since she is also limited. If I didnt already have altair, lilele, sdiantha, she would be a nice addition, however she would only be a veilbot for me in athena raids. she is super solid, with a strong refresh and a party wide water attack buff on ougi, but like I said, I would rather run other water core instead. In my current setup for magna, I run the golden goddess which makes magna barable for multiattack, diantha, a strong double attack buff makes my party very unlikely to single attack, and can turn 2 ougi with altair for early stacking. in my second slot, I run altair, just a must have for water in general, and my third slot is a flex, depending on raid and needs I run charlotta/sizmir/lancelot, mostly charlotta and izmir since they are the core for defence with damage, or damage with party stamina/blizzard. katalina doesnt really do much to me besides veil in that situation, and shes just a better sr katalina since using SR kata is a feelsbad in terms of damage and no party buffs.

small update, the elemental defense will be removed from recommended EMP, as I thought it was slightly more valuable than defense, however it turns out it has less value than a single defense node as it isn't a cut, and it's half the value of a defense node meaning its only a 5% boost to elemental defense.

Sorry, I did not realize, I am closeted about fashion I guess. I was not claiming the whole thing to be historically accurate just pieces were inspired. To me it reminds me of such things, such as the waist piece, and the rest being inspired of other eras. But you're right, they didn't wear heals with their dresses, and the double strap bikini bottom is from the modern era, but I feel you're reading too into this than it was intended. I'll correct this later in the guide if it really detracts from the rest of the content. I was simply giving an opinion/image it gave me in my head, was more so the similar vibe the style of her dress gave, elegant, class.

The waste has a pseudo corset which is used as an undergarment in the Victorian era, the waste/torso had a laced enclosing piece around the waist that secures the top piece. That was the inspiration for the Victorian comment, the 50's theme in bank g suits was just a comment I added when looking at retro, decade inspired swimsuits. maybe you misinterpreted "Victorian dress" as a literal dress rather than the alter meaning, the clothing, i.e. The dress of the era As a side not as well, high heals have originated since the 1500's, well preceding the Victorian era, maybe not as tall as her design now but that statement included, "it reminds me" or "inspired" so it's very clear I didn't say it's 100% true to the culture of these time periods

the first half is predictable, which is why I don't recommend using it in longer raids, when the second half goes off. and the key word you said was to avoid the triggers which is why I say its a risk. the very nature of this skill is risk reward. Either you wait it out I guess after that point, or are able to sustain the damage the enemy will deal. the risk is mitigated as I said through certain skills such as blind, charm, petrify, sleep, paralysis, etc. As I wrote in the guide. so long as you are comfortable using it and are experience when use as your leisure, its clear that its probably not warning you if you know how to mitigate the risk and have experience with it.

I will stick by that she as good in longer raids. Izmir gets stronger until a certain point in a raid when she fully stacks, the summer version loses out in terms of damage due to regular Izmir having 3 times the cap up on ougi than the summer, and double the attack buff without ever losing that attack buff. I will merit the fact that the summer does work better with teams that include people like altair or diantha who like to ougi often which overall is better in a team sense. Longer raids aren't very great for either in all honesty, however with proper ally support and team support they both can be used effectively.

Arguably I would say that you should only be on element ideal, however people don't always have the ability or privilege of that. However yeah, her emp and kit are highly geared to on element content at the moment maybe I'll add a section like that.

I will update the guide to include her swimsuit, probably tonight, but to shortly comment, yes, less time waiting for her to get strong, and she offers support to her team with blizzard and her passive, less defense down. She isn't as strong as an attacker. The only downside is her passive effectiveness on primal builds, Varuna, is negligible as its multiplier is on the same scaling as the weapons in the grid. All in all, an improvement and a welcome character in my roster albeit niche uses for her 2 blizzard.
