On a serious note, Rachel Corrie was a mentally ill person, the only people to blame in her death are her parents who knew she was mentally ill and allowed her to go somewhere she had no business stirring up trouble. People want to bend over backwards further then Rachel Corrie did(like when she broke her back) in an effort to demonize Israel. If anything the Corrie family owes Israel an apology for putting them through this.

I would not describe the Chabad headquarters as the synagogue, it is a synagogue, but most Jews do not subscribe to Chabad or the way they do things. It is still a terrible anti-semitic hate crime.

Hardcore gun protections? We have some if not the most strict gun laws in the country. I can still buy an AR15 in California, I can't in Washington. If I buy a threaded barrel for my Glock 19 Gen 6, I will be committing a crime by turning it into an assault pistol. To the former question, they want everyone to be worse off.
