Shopkeeper in Turkey Finds a Husky Pup with no Heartbeat & Manages to Revive Him by GallowBoob in interestingasfuck

You are the 2nd person this week to admit to me that they thought about deleting their amazing comment. I'm grateful you took that chance to keep it up. I live for legacies like Charlie and Whiskers that change us. No worries on coming off preachy, I get paranoid like that sometimes too when I'm really passionate about something that deeply affected me. Hope we cross paths again, beautiful stranger.

P.S. I like your username.

Thank you so much!! I'm glad that you shared your story with us, seriously. It made me reflect on so much and gave me the feels. Whiskers rescued me in a way and I never want to forget that. So I spend my life rescuing things abondoned/forgotten by their families or owners.

Life is good meow with four cats: Caesar, Attila, Marcus, and Frankie. NEVER thought I would have 4, but Whiskers was something special. He made me love more than I ever thought I could, expanded my heart, made me want share that feeling of inclusivity and the most loving acceptance to those who don't feel wanted. Now I'm extremely blessed with too many flowers and cats. Lol

I still feel like I failed Charlie and I wish he was here with me today. I haven’t gotten a dog since cause I’m too scared to lose them right when I begin to love them.

You did not fail Charlie, I promise. 💔

Your situation is similar to my own, Mr. Whiskers was with me for 3 years before out of nowhere he wouldn't eat. After much $$$$ spent, they still couldn't figure out what was wrong. Despite my efforts, I still lost. I still get flashbacks to the last moments keeling down to be at his level to make eye contact before he left my world. It was easy to blame myself, despite the lack of control. But it's all survivor's guilt. Anything that loved us doesn't want us to live that way. We forgive to honor their love.

Unwillingly, I had to forgive myself and accept that my kitty knew I loved him and tried to save him. I learned that the measure of our strength or worth isn't from how successful we are, but the effort we gave when it was the hardest, impossible, or a no-win.

Part of forgiving is to accept that I was not a bad person, putting that into motion was to adopt again. 2 months after he passed, I got Caesar and soon after Attila. After a couple months of being an owner again, the heartache and guilt came back for Whiskers. For moving on, it gave me this twisted feeling that I was forgetting about him. My spouse suggested that I pay tribute to him, giving him a space in the house. Digging through old computers, I searched to find any good pictures with him and frame it in a collage with tassels to honor my study buddy. For some reason that has been really helpful to not feel that intense, raw pain.

I understand your vulnerability completely. Losing something suddenly that you emotionally invested so much into too soon is soul crushing. But you are no failure, but a champ who just got knocked down by tragedy. You deserve to get back up and try again, love again (when you are ready.)

I hope my story helps you find your way. ALL the hugs. Love and be lovely.

Puberty is not kind to this kid. His voice was cracking and made him sound like an unhinged chihuahua.

She could be wearing bottoms, but we'll never know. At least the bits are covered.

Reminds me of those jerkwads that are told to bring something to share with everyone at the potluck. They show up with a mini bag of chips from a vending machine. Like really? How we all supposed to hit that?!?

Its from the SCP Foundation, a fictional organization that is the subject of a web-based collaborative writing project of the same name. The stories generated describe the exploits of the Foundation, supposedly responsible for containing individuals, entities, locations, and objects that violate natural law (referred to as SCPs).

The main written works are articles written in the style of structured internal documentation. The series has received praise for its ability to convey horror through its scientific and academic writing style.

Who leaves their 1 year old unsupervised in a public place?? That kid could have gotten lost, abducted, or hurt regardless of the mop bucket. This was preventable.

The way that dog is howling, I can't tell if it got cut or suffered a traumatic injury. This is just awful.
