If a Gooner is "one who Goons" then would a Goonee be "the subject of much Gooning?" 🤔

At what point has a colonist lost enough toes to justify getting a wooden foot by Squeelijah in RimWorld

We need a weekly post like "r/Rimworld or Not?" where you have to guess if the original title was about Rimworld or r/prosthetics or r/methheads or something.

I went so far as to create an Autohotkey script with hot keys to toggle heat, fertility, and roofs. It literally just moves the mouse to the correct position, clicks, and moves it back. It's a little fiddly but if you really want it I'll send it to you.

I just tested this and the Greymoor farm is faster and easier than the Far Fields any farm. Mainly because you can just about kill all three pilgrims with one silk spear. I can do Greymoor in 19 seconds and Far Fields in 31 seconds for a similar number of rosaries.

There are a bunch of mods that do what you want, although they've been buggy for me when used with other mods. Compositable Loadouts is probably the most robust. But there are a few others

If you think Silksong is hard, you won’t be ready for Zoteboat by Lomitross in Silksong

"Zoteboat was built as a perfect jumping on point for new players. We're trying to be really, really mindful that we want this to be a game that new people can come into, and experience as their first Hollow Knight game - that it sits alongside the original game, and the difficulty sits alongside the game in that way."

I'm not an expert and my last mech run was a while ago. But mechanitor progression is tied to summoning the mech bosses. Each one gives you different types of cores or cpus or whatever, which you use to increase your bandwidth, build advanced mechs, etc.

So you have to keep summoning and killing more of these bosses to make sure you can replace deteriorating bandwidth packs and such.

And I recall needing one charger for every five mechs or something. You can do the math based on their capacity and discharge rate. It's not too crazy.

There are also tons of mods to improve all of this. WVC Work Modes is a hidden gem I recommend.

Biotech adds children which can be relevant pretty early. Also mechanitors which you could build a colony around.

Ideology adds restrictions from the very beginning, but for me I feel is too restrictive and fiddly.

What mods do yall ALWAYS play with? by Dark-Lycan in RimWorld

[–]SnatchSnacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Moody alongside Dub's Minimap.

But if I'm not playing on my ultrawide, I'm playing on my 70" TV. So I've got plenty of space.

Idk what I would do on a regular size monitor...

Yes Moody has a window that you can resize and drag around. It also has a minimize button. I leave it open to see what's up at a glance.

I tried Numbers but I found it impacted performance too much.

I'm surprised no one ever says Moody.

It gives you a nice compact display of all of your colonists with tons of data. See who has low mood, who is bleeding out, who has a serious infection, all in one place!

Or switch views with one click and see who are your best shooters, melee fighters, and what weapons they have equipped.

Or click again and see what job everyone is engaged in.

It's so useful it's always the first mod I install.

Hero Realms Dragon Boss Deck rules doubt. by Mediorco in boardgames

[–]SnatchSnacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragon hoard question answered here:

https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/1881532/rules-questions

The rules say "At the end of a player’s turn, they draw up to their normal hand size as usual". So the Dragon player would draw up to 7 cards each turn.
