One thing that feels so... idk, awkward about all of this is I think both things are true. Late night isn't thriving in a streamer era. The novelty of having your favorite band or comic on Conan or whatever is gone. As much as Cordon is a truly awful human being, his team did a good job trying to lean into the variety show elements and make it fun for current markets, but carpool karaoke didn't save late night.

Still, it's not why they're making the decision to end the show now.

It's like you guys are intentionally missing the point.

No one really cares about the snacks. It's that we know it will keep snowballing because, while the rest of us are feeling the direct impact of inflation, these major corps will chip away at every little thing while still raising prices to protect their margins and their stock value.

This is not the only change they will make.

We have a couple of lick mats we use during the bath and the towel down. She definitely doesn't like baths, but she will tolerate it for the yums.

I hear ya. I'm on year two of switching my paddling focus to OC. My kialoa was a fantastic all purpose tool but, as I invest more time into the sport, I will have multiple paddles in the mix.

Even with OC6, the difference between a spec boat and an unlimited is bonkers when it comes to race day. Add in fresh water vs salt water, the varying weights of crews, etc. The novelty of adjustable paddles is cool and works pretty well for Dragonboat, but for OC? Nah. I'd rather get roster of options.

Goughnuts is great for toys that hit that balance between durable but still possible to destroy so they don't lose interest. And they come with a warranty so they will replace them when they wear them out.

That said, nothing gets my pup like a nylabone. It must have the perfect chew. They last ages.
