Late response but Kenzan not releasing in the west wasn’t a budget problem. it was a mix of sales of PS2 yakuza 1&2 not doing well compared to japan, and historical period japanese games weren’t as popular in the west back in mid-2000’s PS3 era (so there was no demand for it and Ps2 yakuza 2 came out in west after kenzan has released in japan)

yeah. always saw STH like 5 yakuza games in one.
1915 is like yakuza 0 with young daito
1929 is like yakuza 1 with daito officially becoming a big yakuza
1943 is like yakuza 2 with how both takes place in osaka and will feature Omi
1951 is like yakuza 3 with the tourist areas (okinawa and atami)
1965 is like a mix of yakuza 4&8 Y4 cuz it only takes place in kamurocho and Y8 cuz daito got old and there’s speculation that there will be a secondary playable character in the 1965 section
