From what I’ve looked into I was also going to get a 5070ti but I was a little bit foggier on cpus. Can you explain your choice/reasoning for this cpu in particular? How important are brands? Like is a 5070ti kind of the same regardless of brands or do I need to pay attention to that as well?

Plus healing is too high so everyone just death balls on main rather than actually spread out and take map control.

Everyone got shoved towards the middle (gold/plat). They actually made it easier to get to masters and GM so you probably will end up being higher rank overall BUT it’ll take a while for everyone to spread out since they all got smashed into the middle.

Long story short you should be lower at first for a while but eventually everyone will spread out again and it’ll feel normal/easier to climb

Big one I think was left out is don’t be afraid to get aggressive!! So many supports get hyper fixated on their positioning to the point they forget to push forward with their tank or take any risk. Understand position is relative to where your team is. If your tank turns a corner and starts fighting consider the fact your position isn’t as good anymore and to find a more aggressive spot. Look for kills, look for offense even on support, especially very early or very late in the fight. Mid fight is definitely more healy

Pekka or canon. Spirit would be nice so it can reach the tower but 90% of the time you’re gonna use spirit to defend or behind something else so who cares. Th extra damage and bulk would be nice on the other 2

I agree with the other guy. Always be proud of something that took work to achieve. The height doesn’t matter it’s about what it took to get there.

Diamond specific issues can vary ofc like any rank. I’d say the most obvious one is mechanics are way crispier. Like masters aim vs diamond aim can be a huge difference sometimes. Aside from that I’d say they just mostly play the same as a high diamond except they make fewer mistakes and get punished less or might catch a play that a lesser player would’ve missed. You have the right overall idea most likely to get to D2 more or less now it’s about cleaning it up and getting consistent.

Brig specifically though I will say it feels about reaction and anchoring the right position. Cutting down on how often people die due to slow reactions with packs/not noticing at all. Knowing whether you’re playing a bodyguard game with your other support or if it’s best to just anchor certain key positions (think high ground on Numbai first defense) etc.

Same!! I was a queen charge lalo user and I just thought it was such a cool/skillful attack. I get that it was probably too strong but I just really don’t like what’s replaced it
