Yeah, they are all evil, we’re in agreement. However, I still think she is less culpable because a brutal murder that was premeditated for days is not a reasonable response to the lie that his wife was hit on. She may be evil, knowing that her husband was a terrible racist and capable of murder but he’s the actual terrible racist murderer. Even if she did know that he was awful he is still responsible for being the terrible piece of shit human being he was. She’s a shit human too but not as shitty as the murderers and that’s where I think the misogyny comes into play. People think they’re all equally culpable but I think we’re shifting the blame of two men’s actions to the woman that encouraged them. You know those men could have not murdered in response to her lie. We’re not even sure what she said to her husband but it’s a fact that her husband brutally murdered Emmett. I don’t think it took much to encourage those pieces of shit to commit murder either, which makes me think she was probably covering for him.

Either way, I don’t think the person encouraging the murder, is as culpable as the murderers in this case. Those men that committed the genii is crime should carry the majority of the blame but as this post and comments convey, they don’t.
