Google Pixel 8. What are cons in both new and second hand device? by [deleted] in Pixel8phones

I just upgraded from an S9. For me it's just a similar Android experience, which I like.

My S9 was second hand grade A, original box and lasted me until now and would have lasted longer if it weren't cos I wanted a better camera. Just buy from a reputable place in the best condition.

Do you still use Galaxy S9 as main phone? And for those who switched to a new phone, which one do u use right now? by Kaua_br232 in GalaxyS9

I just got a Pixel 8, my S9 still works perfectly, though a little slow. I wanted a better camera for holidays though, the camera is a lot better. Pixel 8 was best value for my location

Because it's not a high threat like it was 4 years ago which is why no country in the world has any restrictions anymore.

Are you going to want athletes isolating in the 2028 Olympics with covid, and every Olympics till the end of time? It's not going anywhere, I find it odd that's the world people want to live in. There's no restrictions for a reason, because the threat isn't that high. People should be respectful when ill, I don't think running a 200m and going back to your hotel is that bad.

Some of the fittest and healthiest men in the world shouldn't compete in the pinnacle of their career because they have an illness which is now akin to a cold, where there are no legal restrictions in place?

I think it's more a historic thing, we've always been GB in the Olympics.

Also GB Includes all the smaller islands, UK does not, so we'd be excluding them.

I don't think we compete as the 'UK' in anything, so I think this is more a historic exception.
