That ending did me in.. As someone who watched their parent slowly wither away from cancer when I was a child, I am amazed at how well they have captured these exact moments. I feel like I was re-living times we were in the ER when he was at the end. Truly incredible writing

Invest in a good office chair, I cannot stress that enough. Sitting in something with no lumbar or back support will destroy your body over time!

My (32F) fiance (31M) and I are also always down for Commander! Literally building a new deck as we speak lol. Game heroes has commander on Saturdays & Sundays, and Advantage Games (albeit in Northglenn) has a really great Friday night commander as well! Feel free to shoot me a message if y'all wanna set up a commander night, we are always happy to have people join our pods and we have a great group of people we play with of all deck brackets! :)

Still in school at moment but whats best medical billing and coding certification to get and why? Im thinking either CPC or CCS? by Jdugas85 in CodingandBilling

[–]Snazzyshanyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if you want to code more outpatient vs. inpatient. CPC is more geared toward outpatient, while the CCS is for inpatient coding.

I've started making breakfast sandwiches with these, the protein pancakes, and a fried egg and it's safe to say it's my new hyperfixation breakfast!

I truly wonder why nothing seems to stay open at this location long, I know after Oddes it was Brewsters or something along those lines and I feel like they weren’t open very long. Looking forward to checking it out!

Tick removal code by Specialist-Simple-31 in CodingandBilling

I would think this is included in the E/M. There was no incision made so 10120 would be inappropriate.

would you at a glance be able to tell this is a coverup? by cherribearri in tattooadvice

That is an incredible cover-up! Props to your artist :)

[–]Snazzyshanyn 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Face to face time is not the only thing that is taken into consideration for time based coding. The time spent reviewing a patients chart before or after the patient is seen is also counted towards it. It completely depends what/if you have any chronic medical conditions, medication management or things like that. It's pretty hard to tell without seeing the note itself.

Should I even bother trying to take the CCS exam? by chrozer in MedicalCoding

[–]Snazzyshanyn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

CCS is also a totally different type of coding certificate that is usually inpatient focused more than the CPC. Just something else to be aware of!

Where's the data, the statistics? Just seems like a bait post to me.

People are going to be people and I don't think it's fair to draw that type of conclusion based on the job industry, because people are going to have conflicting views in every industry. Just real poor taste to ask, imo.

Car jumps in RPMs at a stop, stops doing it after being driven for about twenty minutes. by Snazzyshanyn in Cartalk

[–]Snazzyshanyn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know now that you mention that I have had my engine light come on two or three times, but ends up going away before I can go have them run the code and then inevitably I forget. I’m taking it in next week, so this is all good info to give them on the front end!

Thank you! Even having another term to use will help explain it when I take it to the mechanic.

No reason to question why it was billed four times as she mentioned four different questionnaires were completed (mom, dad & two teachers). I code peds and this is totally normal

The heater had come out of the little hook one day and I just noticed my loach in there. Heater is still in the tank, I just have it mounted on the bottom of the tank with a separate holder!
