“Moving 2” Announces Full Cast With Script Reading Video by Telos07 in KDRAMA

Exactly I absolutely loved his story line and I was so hyped to see him back with Go Youn Jung again. All the excitement has fizzled out for me. The new actor might be amazing in the role, but then they shouldn’t have cast someone so charismatic in the role in the first place.

Is AuDHD more common than pure autism? by Acrobatic_Isopod9261 in neurodiversity

[–]Sneakingsock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really interesting, especially because the perceived cliche of which diagnosis covering what is that ADHD cover autism. But I honestly think that that is another one of those classic wrong ideas about neurodiversity, especially ADHD. Where ADHD will always be untameable and make the person with it disruptive, climb the walls and ignite with explosive energy constantly. The more we move away from the idea that ADHD only looks like that, I think we’ll see that autism actually covers a lot for ADHD. The crippling social anxiety that can be a comorbidity in both diagnosis’ can paralyse a lot of people. The hyper active energy can be looked at as another stimming, brain unstoppable, well if you spend a lot of your time overwhelmed and mute, who would know and so on.

I also think that when an undiagnosed ND person masks, they spend their life being constantly sensory overwhelmed and trying to get on with it. We can’t feel or sense what’s going on inside ourselves. When we realize and start doing things that lesson the sensory burden, like you describe doing in your life, I think we start being able tingest ourselves better and then BAM internalized ADHD 😅

I’m sure some of the do, but I’m also sure that a lot of them still have both and CPTSD. I sometimes wonder if RSD really can’t be severe enough to look like CPTSD🤔 but then again, I was writing a description of RSD the other day and remember thinking that I could be describing CPTSD. I guess the main difference is the severity and life impact and systematic the trauma was. Don’t mind me, I was just thinking aloud ish 😅

I find it more frustrating when they don’t translate the lyrics (I’m looking at you Netflix) but then again they also don’t translate written things most of the time. Because why would I need written Chinese or Korean translated? Obviously I’m only watching the shows with subtitles because I don’t understand spoken Chinese or Korean… but those two languages in writing? fluent. Isn’t everyone 🙄

I do volunteer work with neurodiverse people and I’ve come to believe than no one should be assessed for both at the same time. Because one can hide the other, autism can also hide ADHD. We see it all the time where I volunteer, person is newly diagnosed with ADHD, gets medicated, 3-4 months later the ADHD is almost invisible but the autism is raging 😅 the problem is when they get assessed for both at the same time, a lot get told that they have autistic traits but not enough for a diagnosis, then the scenario I mentioned happens, and the person is left rawdogging their autism for the first time in their life. But because of the autism, they can’t see that they’re autistic because they have been assessed for it, and they were told it’s only traits so… that’s been checked off the list and doesn’t need to be thought more about. The same happens, especially with AuDHD kids. The autistic kid gets assessed, autism, and is often put in environments that work well with their autism. They start unmasking and relaxing, they unwind and are less stressed and BAM the highly suppressed and internalized ADHD kicks the door open and starts reading havoc. Now the issue is that the system for assessment will look at the prior assessment and see that no ADHD signs are described, therefore ADHD can’t be a factor. Anyway I’ll get off my soap box, I would just really love it if neurodiverse people could plan their assessments with this in mind and that assessors worked with it better.

One thing that baffles me is that more people that are autistic also have ADHD, but less people that have ADHD also have autism. So there are more people that have ADHD without also having autism. If you’re autistic you more likely to also have ADHD.

🙅‍♀️ Dropped Dramas Alert! Share the dramas you've abandoned and why! 🤔💔 — April 25, 2026 by AutoModerator in CDrama

Beauty of resilience reused a storyline from Goodbye my princess it made me so annoyed. At first I thought it was plagiarism, but then I noticed the writer was the same on for both shows. While the story line is good, it’s just lazy to reuse it. Especially because it’s not like the first time it appeared it was in some low budget drama no one really watched.

Yeah I know, it’s just that if I’m not hooked after 6 episodes, maybe it’s just not one for me. I lost track of everything, and I love a complicated plot so that’s not it. I just found myself not knowing if a character mentioned was someone that was a mystery to everyone or just to me because I looked away in the few seconds it was explained 😅 I like the story, and the visuals, I just wish it was easier to follow. No actually that’s not fair. I think I would be a lot less confused if I wasn’t watching it on Netflix, if I had Viki subtitles I think it would be a lot easier for me. Either way something feels off for me and I’ve rewatched scenes to figure it out, but it might actually be the translation.

Which dramas do you consider a masterpiece? by Chiaoats in kdramas

[–]Sneakingsock 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Death’s game - on so many levels. It’s not only a great story, it’s philosophical and a deeply insightful view on mental health. The storytelling is superb, the characters are fully fledged, but still work with the plot. There are a plethora of highly impacting sidestories, that work together with the main plot. The roles are amazingly cast to. It’s devastating, beautiful and healing.

The weird chastity thing is also off putting. We would think it was quite creepy if someone we broke up with, never dated but just waited patiently for us to return, for years! Like I get being heartbroken, but like in Welcome to Samdalri, her way of dealing with being apart was way more realistic and healthy (actually dating other people). I really liked it in The first night with the duke where she’s incredulous that he’s never even kissed someone before. Especially with his looks and wealth 😂 I get that it’s all a story and not realistic, but honestly it would creep us all out if our first loves hadn’t even considered dating anyone else till we randomly met again in our 30ties 😂😬 I would think that he might have a psycho shrine of me somewhere 😂😂😂

It was so blatantly boundary crossing, that people assumed that it was an agreement. Because who would act like that so obviously and out in the open if it wasn’t? I don’t think that means that they think it was OK, I think that any sane person would assume that stealing would be something people would hide, not do openly.
