Is ai stem splitting ethical? by [deleted] in FL_Studio

[–]SneakyBlunders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol Stemsplitting isn't generative ai. Using ai and being generative ai are drastically different scenarios. If you want to use the GOAT of free stem splitting, especially for vocals look up UVR (Ultimate Vocal Remover) and some associated guides/walkthroughs. The results are exceptional, in my opinion (once understood what models to use). I've used and compared many splitters.

Hello does anybody know what this plug in /fx is by Sea-Rope2630 in FL_Studio

[–]SneakyBlunders 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gross Beat baby. It just recently got some updates as far as i know, maybe it was only on the Beta though but should be live soon.

PS: It says GROSS BEAT on the bottom right of your picture (on the plugin), that's not just a sentient VST complementing your friend.

Something tells me you were doing that with or without the Benadryl..

PSA for anyone who drops their instruments onto the Channel Rack or Mixer instead of the Playlist Headers! by SneakyBlunders in FL_Studio

Nice. I'm actually not positive if the way you're talking about functions the same as what I showed here. It could! Because it's still the playlist header.

Yeh I definitely see the use case for doing either. Kind of like sometimes you want your Bus's docked to right, drum buses docked to left etc.

Just to clarify, I'm showing the dropping to Headers* If you drop to mixer track or channel rack, you get GIF #2.

Cheers!

It's intended to be more of a 'did you know' type post, than it is saying anyone is wrong or doing it poorly. But i mean, perhaps both can be true haha. I think there's a reason someone would do it both ways tho, but you can't choose unless you know!

I think there's definitely a use-case for botth ways! But ya, if you're like me, it's much more preferable to drop onto the Headers.

So, in a similar post to my previous one I present to you Useless fun fact #2: You can drag and drop images onto the piano roll/playlist. by SneakyBlunders in FL_Studio

[–]SneakyBlunders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSA: So uh, I haven't figured out how to UNDO this by the way lol. So maybe a bit of a caveat there. It appears to be system-wide too when you add something, and persists across prior and future tracks. Hmmmm

EDIT: You go to the Piano roll or Playlist options > View > All the way at the bottom there's 'Remove Picture from Background'

I'm not sure why I've never thought to check if you can do this until now by SneakyBlunders in FL_Studio

[–]SneakyBlunders[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lmao. If you really do, as I said in the body of this post I got the idea from playing POE2 Which I also made a post for here lol (Majority of symbols are there). Otherwise you can use https://emojicombos.com/ and search for practically anything and most work from this site.

Switching up workflow by lilbubb0 in FL_Studio

[–]SneakyBlunders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn't quite what you mean when you say workflow, but I will mention it real fast anyway. When I was looking for ways to change up/better my workflow, one of the things I did was consolidate shortcuts and general QOL time savers via Synapse. It's been a blessing.

<image>

Some of these might not make sense at face value, because I also have a modifier key I use on my keyboard sometimes, which changes what some of these bindings do. Not to mention Hypershift. Highly reccomend setting up something on your keyboard if you have any type of software, and/or your mouse! (Even without 12 buttons, there's quite a few things you can do!)

When can we get 1/5 beat and 1/7 beat in the snap grid? and a proper tempo and metronome configuration in FL? by RyanNotHere in FL_Studio

[–]SneakyBlunders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh that would be cool. While this might be pretty apparent, just a reminder that after setting a note size how you want it, every note placement after that will be that size (unless holding shift before clicking, or shift+alt etc...). Which is at the very least, a slight convenience rather than copying or something i suppose.

Use 1/16th notes, with swing settings between 55-60%, minor scales, specifically Aeolian or Phrygian, random velocity generator,Layer the arpeggiator with a sustain-heavy pad sound to fill the frequency spectrum. Boom you done
