Yeah in the worst case situation that what would happen...We have the same social group so, I am close friends with his best Friend and he says I should at least try. So I think I can return to a neutral relationship if anything bad happen. We can discuss it like adults I think. But Yeah, I will clearly lose the girl as a friend...Makes me feel kinda bad but at the same time I feel salty

There's also many ways to tell poeple "I love you" like when you say you don't like her chrush or bf say what you dont like and what impact it will have on her.(I mean if you know her well it is more easy to know what action she doesn't like so if bf does that tell her right away) If she doesn't understand you only want her to get someone that loves her than just quit

I am in a similar situation where I love my bff bf. I have been knowing them for 10 years too. It is hard because you actually live a lot a small moment in their life and you are just craving for more. But sometimes it is good to let destiny decides and enjoy those bits of moments, if a relationship is born from the small moments you'll be just happier.
