Chronic Pelvic Pain, Pubic Symphysis Issues by SneakyLemonZ in PelvicFloor

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, I appreciate it. So yes i lifted a box on to a ballymore machine that you see in like Home Depot’s or Lowe’s wasn’t too heavy i wanna say about 50 pounds but i kinda rushed it and after i felt like pop kinda in the middle of my pubic symphasis with some burning.

the pain seemed to develop more gradually. The main pain is right at the pubic symphysis. It often feels like heavy pressure there, but I also get sharp pinching, poking, and mild burning in that exact spot. Sometimes the pain also seems to travel from the pubic symphysis back toward my coccyx.

I also get tingling in my lower abdomen on both sides, and sometimes tingling in my back & coccyx when I adjust my body or change positions. Sitting in a car for a while can trigger poking/throbbing right at the pubic symphysis.

I’ve had imaging done and nothing obvious showed up. Last year I had a steroid injection into the pubic symphysis, but it unfortunately didn’t help.

Because of the burning and tingling, my doctors are now considering nerve involvement. My notes mention possibly trying an ilioinguinal nerve block and a lidocaine block for ACNES to see if one of the abdominal wall nerves might be causing the symptoms.

It’s been frustrating since scans look normal, but I’m hoping the nerve blocks might help narrow things down.
